It has been a minute since I've been in a Smoothie King so I needed some refreshers with the menu. Employees were super helpful and I appreciated their recommendations. I tried a pumpkin slim something and it was delicious. I was a tad suspicious that there was not an artificial sweetener but I was assured that there was not. I even looked up the ingredients later online but it looks like the protein pack might be a proprietary blend so I can't see what's included in that. What a disappointing experience at the West Chester location. I placed a mobile order for pickup and waited. I noticed the app marked my order "completed" -- but I never received my smoothie, and there was nothing in the pickup cooler. When I finally got someone's attention, there was no apology or attempt to fix the issue -- just a shrug. Another customer even stepped in to ask if they could make my smoothie now, and the employee replied, "I mean, I guess." Then the cashier rushed over, loudly complaining that they were busy and short-staffed -- still with no apology or effort to make things right. I left empty-handed. This was my first time at a Smoothie King. I was surprised by how diverse, and extensive the menu is. Reviewing the menu before would have been a good idea. Having so many choices was a bit overwhelming. Drinks are broken down into categories. Everything from healthy to practically a dessert is available. Drinks are also customizable. Finally I Ordered the Keto Champ. (I ordered it because it sounded good, not because it is Keto friendly.) Berries, almond butter and almond milk blended together nicely. Berries were the predominate flavor, with almond butter undertones. I thought it would be a bit like a pb&j (well almond butter and jelly,) but it was more like a berry tart with an almond crust. Consistency was thin enough to immediately drink through the straw, but not so thin that it became melty at the end. I would be happy to try a number of their other drinks. Location looked clean. Signs up ask people not to touch the merchandise if not purchasing. Signs about social distancing and masks were also up. read more

The service was ok. The cashier didn't ask us how we were, although she wasn't rude. Then we had to wait 15 minutes for our order even though we were the only people there. There wasnt a whole lot to look at. They had a few pictures on the wall but nothing else really other than the wall of coffee. I love smoothie king but this location needs to train their staff Especially cause they are in customer service . First they keep closing 20 minutes before they are suppose to close. Then when asking questions they are disrespectful, then they don't blend the smoothies all they way. I would go to Fairfield but they aren't any better they do the Same thing . My friends and I stop in to this Smoothie King location about once a week. The only reason this review has two stars instead of one is because all the other times they've been great. However today I was given the worst smoothie I've ever consumed. I ordered the Green Tea Tango smoothie with raspberry and added an extra banana. Normally, this is a pretty thick smoothie. The one the two boys served me tonight was watery and tasted like a matcha powder Alka-Seltzer drink. It was like chalk powder had a baby with banana urine.... Whatever that means. I will be back, once I figure out how many tubes of toothpaste it'll take to rinse this taste out of my mouth. It wasn't just my smoothie either, my friends was super watery and gross. PS. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. That sucked too. read more

I've been to many Smoothie Kings and Jamba Juices. While most places offer similar selection, the quality of the smoothie at this location is lackluster. Long story short, I got the Mangofest smoothie. The flavor is decent, with ample fruitfulness. However, there were several large chunks of ice that did not get broken up by their blenders. They interfered frequently with using a straw to drink the smoothie. Having several chunks of unbroken ice kind of defeats the purpose of "smoothie." I think part of the issue may be that they made my small order along with another large order. While from a cost and cleaning perspective, that may make sense. But the more ice you put in to a blender, the more difficult it is for a blender to crush and pulverize ice evenly and smoothly. I might give this location another try in the future. I just hope that they do a better job. read more

I visited this location on 7/28/20, during the pandemic, and was very disappointed. Employee - Rachel, was the only one working at the counter and she is the reason for a single star. She completed register transactions, some with currency, and never once washed her hands. She did not wear gloves while preparing any of the orders and was wearing her mask down around her chin with no coverage. Her over -sized sweatshirt was covering the heel of her palm and basically in the way during food prep. I asked Rachel to please wear gloves while preparing the smoothies that I ordered because they were for immuno-comprised customers. She huffed and rolled her eyes. I asked, "don't you have access to gloves?". She said, yes but they are back there (in the side room) and I'll have to go get them." It was obviously a hassle. She rubbed her nose, made another smoothie for a waiting customer. She stomped off to get gloves, huffing as she returned. Seriously, a teen temper tantrum. She then said to me, "people are treating us like we have a virus that we don't even have". I told her I was sorry for the hassle but wanted her to wear gloves because she never washed her hands. She said, "I don't have time to argue with you" and I said, "you obviously do have time to argue with me because you are still talking". The woman ahead of me in line then canceled her order, received a refund and exited, which is what I should have done. She never asked me if I wanted plastic or styrofoam and as you could guess, she slammed my smoothies on the counter and stomped back to her position. My guess is the manager or owner are not aware of the behavior their front line worker exhibits. Isn't is a simple tenant of safe serve to wash your hands and wear gloves??? My goodness, after she wiped her nose with her hand and kept working...either she didn't receive training, doesn't care and should be sent home or this is part of the culture at this location. I will drive the extra miles to the Smoothie King on Cin-Dayton Rd from now on. Writing to their corporate office next and maybe the Health Department. read more

Huh?! I ordered my smoothie and the young lady rang me up for it, meanwhile a gentleman ordered one as well. When I was done paying for my smoothie, I put a tip in the tip jar and she thanked me. This is my favorite way to get my fruits in! I love this location. The girl that works in the morning is super nice and always has a smile on. My addiction is the Pure Recharge Strawberry-Mango Smoothie. It's pretty dissent price and very filling. Best part is that it opens at 7:00am,so I can get one on my way to work. read more

This smoothie King has many options!! Great customer service, too. This time I got the kids choc-a-laka. It's very good. If it's your first time getting it, it tastes like a empty waffle cone that had chocolate ice cream in it (sorry for the "such detailed" description). FYI, you can get kid smoothies even if your not a child, including getting a larger size for the children smoothies. The place is very welcoming and clean. I recommend smoothie King!! read more
