Kudos to the Visalia Ulta team!…read more My daughter and I stopped in looking for guidance on selecting the right products for her first makeup routine. She had an idea of the look she wanted but wasn't sure which brands would be the best fit for her skin type. DJ helped her narrow down everything she needed, and what truly made my heart skip a beat was when she said, "This is what I buy for my nieces." That personal touch meant so much. She even went above and beyond by checking the back for a product that wasn't on the shelf, and she found it for us. When it was time to check out, Emma noticed that we had spent enough to receive the adorable summer tote promotion. Unfortunately, they were out on the sales floor. Daisy kindly went to the back to see if there were any left, and sure enough, she came back with a box. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. Thank you, DJ, Emma, and Daisy, for making my daughter's first makeup shopping experience so special. Your kindness, attentiveness, and exceptional customer service did not go unnoticed!

I came into this Ulta location for help matching a foundation shade. I already know the brand and…read moreproduct I use and only wanted a lighter shade. The associate kept insisting I use a completely different line instead of listening to what I was asking for. I explained myself multiple times, but she still pushed another brand and then suggested taking me to someone else instead of actually helping. The staff did not feel friendly or engaged, and the experience came off as lazy and dismissive. I was visiting from out of town and was honestly surprised by how unwelcoming the environment felt. The entire experience was uncomfortable, and I walked out without buying anything. I'd rather drive to my usual Ulta location in Los Angeles, where customer service is consistently better.

Everybody is so friendly and wonderful! I love how Katherine does my hair! But I see all the girls…read morehere that they're doing every time I come in and it's just such a wonderful vibe! And I love love, love my spray tan also

My stylist was Katherine the salon owner. Before I get into it, I've had extensions before (also…read morewith short hair up to my shoulders) so I know what to expect and how great they can look if done correctly! I had a short bob and was told that it probably wouldn't work but when I had went in she said it was actually no problem and that my extensions would be able to blend because I had thick hair. I had also mentioned I had black box dye and was open to just leaving my hair black if she couldn't get me to a brunette which she said she could do. When I went in for a color correction I left with what was more of a red than a brown color which she told me that when my extensions come in she'd put a darker gloss on (she didn't) and I ended up leaving the salon with 2 very different colors after paying $1400 total and still tipping as well. I had let her know I wasn't pleased with my experience and she seemed to have blamed me for "talking her into it" but as a stylist you should know what you are and aren't capable of and being honest with your clients. She also mentioned that she didn't want to face my chair towards the mirror so I wouldn't get scared and that I probably will not like my hair when she was done...which she was totally correct I didn't. Her parting is also very poorly done so you'll have random hairs getting tugged by the beads and getting stuck between wefts because it's as if she didn't brush the hair down or tried to make the parts straight. When I had went back to get my hair "fixed" to match all one color I still left with some red blotches in my hair. When she had fired me as a client she told me she doesn't work with my type of hair... I had went to instagram in hopes that I can get opinion on if I was in the wrong and the amount of people who told me I deserve my money back was appalling! If you also get your hair done here be careful because I've heard a few conversations of the girls talking bad about their clients with other clients.... EDIT : Response to your response Of course I will always try to keep it friendly and professional. Yes we had lovely conversations in person and over message and this is nothing against YOU. This isn't a personal attack. This is more so my experience with your work. Did I tell you I loved it ? Yes because I didn't want to hurt your feelings and also embarrass you in front of your workers which is why I messaged you privately immediately. I do not like confrontation and love resolving things personally as to not hurt peoples feelings. The first time I told you I loved my hair I lied and called my best friend crying saying my hair is red. I told you I loved my hair the last time because it was finally at least one " solid" color then to come home to find out it's actually not. I "loved" my hair because I knew it being all dark brown now I can blend it on my own with my own extensions back at home. I didn't want you to cut anything because I would have to go to someone else to hopefully fix it and I don't want my hair to be uneven for the next stylist. I wanted to just be able to deal with one length.
