I was helped by the cutest stylist named Lee and she did exactly what I wanted. She was so nice and very personable. I needed a cut before work and she opened early to accommodate me. I had been a loyal customer for years when Nina owned the salon, but I will never return under the new management. From the moment I called to make an appointment, I should have take that as the first red flag. The female employee taking the call struggled to understand what I was saying, even after I repeated myself several times. She never even asked for my name before "scheduling" the appointment and told me she'd be doing my nails in replace of Nina. The male technician who sits at the front right of the salon at table #8 was extremely rough with both my child and me. While doing my child's nails, he made several of her fingers bleed and then aggressively pressed oil into the cuts instead of acknowledging what happened. She was in pain the entire time she said. When he did my fill, the experience only got worse. He repeatedly drilled and filed into my skin and underneath my nails, put his long fake finger nail into my cuticles multiple times breaking the acrylic from my skin, gripped my hands and fingers painfully tight, and constantly jerked and pulled my hands around. He also couldn't understand what I was asking for, which led to an argument with another employee before he literally yanked my hand away from her. By the time I left, my fingers, hands, nail beds, and even my joints were aching from how rough he had been. My child and I sat in the car afterward and cried. I've never left a nail appointment feeling scared, sore, and upset before. It was an awful experience, and we will never return or recommend this salon to anyone. If you choose to go here, I would strongly advise avoiding the male technician who sits at the front of the salon at table #8.

Everytime I asked "am I ably to file my nails shorter, or make it less boxy, she would just look at me, look at my nails, and then start speaking to her coworker. I feel like if she asked me questions along the process rather doing her own thing; I wouldn't have to voice myself so much :( I'm not from the area & needed my nails done desperately but I definitely won't be coming back. Well, not only she did a sloppy job putting the hair color on where I asked her to remove the color off my forehead and on my ears, but after she washed it, there was still so much left over that when I would scratch my head, my fingernails would turn black. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting before I was contacted by the stylist via IG (because that's all they wanted to communicate on). She cancels due to not having a sitter? Unprofessional. I ask if another one of the 3 stylists could do a simple tone and no one could help. Shocking... don't go here unless you want someone to waste your time. Mind you one of the stylists was just sitting there blow drying and styling herself. Not having my instagram information seems to be a personal problem because that's the method of contact YOU choose to put in your policy -YOU should've put it down on your calendar when we booked. I handled myself graciously over DMs but all I wanted to do was cry and get angry. Vivian didn't attempt to rebook me for a later date that would work with my schedule nor offered any compensation for wasting my time. And to the stylists there - she's giving you a bad rep.

We spent a good part of the day together and she was pleasant and fun to talk to. We laughed and told each other stories and I can honestly say she made the time pass so easily. She did a stunning job with my color. She was detailed and meticulous, the colors she chose were exactly perfect, she recommended something that would fit with the amount of time and effort I have to give to my hair routine and I literally could not be happier. I trusted that they would show up on time, which was not the case for two hair stylists I talked with before I found Jesica. I didn't even get to meet her ahead of time because we don't live in the area, but I felt confident on the basis of our text and phone conversations that she was going to do everything to get it right. They did a great job on my hair as well as the hair of three other people for the ceremony. My hair stayed in place even after I put on a veil and later removed it.
