Crispy batter, sweet and full of flavour. Their chips are traditional, seasonal potatoes and, again, fresh. Their portions are reliably generous. We are never disappointed with our take-a-way and for the price it is fantastic value. We spend around £12 to handsomely feed a family of four. There is a seating area that we have used occasionally. However, this place is alright the chips were good as they were soft in the middle but crispy on the outside which for me is ideal. They also have a Chinese menu which from what I saw was quite a large menu with plenty to choose from although I didn't opt for the Chinese so I couldn't comment on the quality. They sell their empty pickled onion containers for 50p a tub which I thought was quite funny. I asked if they actually sold any and they said that they sell them frequently! My only qualm with this place is that they seem to manage to get something wrong with my order every single time I go there. Most recently they let a couple that had just walked in to the chippy walk off my mine and my boyfriends fish and chips that we had waited for over ten minutes for. On top of that when we finally DID get our food and got home, they'd put 3 portions of mushy peas in our bag, instead of 2 x peas and a curry sauce. Haddock and chips here is more expensive than at the infinitely superior Golden Union in London. Quite sad to have wasted my sister-in-law's money on this atrocious meal.
