It's always great going in Harley store's when you're on vacation. Try to get a few things from every store.

Wife and I Met with Rick and Chris this afternoon to discuss bike options. Chris seriously went out of his way to explain several options that would benefit my wife as she works toward a bigger bike than her current Iron1200 Sportster. Rick worked some nice trade in options as well and provided us with different ideas to discuss. Both of them made us feel like family at Snake HD with no pressures to buy "right now". I was passing through the area and was riding a replacement bike as my old antique motorcycle broke down. The replacement Road King that I bought had screaming front wheel bearings. It is obviously unsettling to ride a bike with that issue. I sent a request on Monday afternoon.(they are closed on Monday) to Snake's website. To my surprise, TJ, the owner, responded and scheduled me the very next morning for 1/2 hour before their 9 AM opening. They completed the service within one hour. I would like to shout out the service advisor, Josh, and Kelly, the technician completed the service. They were both standup gentleman. This Harley Davidson dealer is a gem. Give them as much business as you can!!! read more

We were just passing through and always try to pick up a Dealership-labeled HD T-shirt when ever we have the opportunity. Their T-shirt selection was "ok" but not a whole lot to choose from. The T-shirt I really liked was sold out in my size so minus one star for that. You'd think that if a Dealership had an item that costs ~ $5 to make and sells for North of $30, they'd make sure they have ample supplies on hand! Since we arrived by car I have no idea what their sales or service departments are like but on our visit there seemed to be only one employee working the desk/parts department and he said he was a mechanic..... so this is apparently one of the smaller HD dealerships. No complaints though. read more

My boyfriend and I were traveling cross country, from Montana, during 4th of July week. They stick-on weights added to my front tire, from the Harley shop in Great Falls, Montana. I have a 2008 Heritage Softail, which came with the spoke weights. Within just a couple of days, the weights disappeared. The Harley shop in Boise, Idaho was too busy to take my bike in. We stopped at Snake Harley Davidson, in desperation, late in the afternoon. My boyfriend ran in to explain what was going on with my bike and asked if they could just look at my bike really quick. Josh, from the Service department, was happy to help. It was approaching they end of their day, but they were happy to squeeze my bike it and did a phenomenal job. They added the correct weights to my front tire and even ended up adding weights to the back tire, which had none from the Great Falls shop. Everyone in that department was incredibly nice and so helpful. It was obvious that they take pride in their work and care about their customers. I can't thank them enough. read more

We broke down in Twin falls Idaho Snake Harley took our bike right in and started working on it. We were there a day and a half. They gave us a name of a few hotels that would give is a discount. They also gave us a name of a great place to eat. The employees were great. The work was done and down the road we went..a big thanks to all the employees for getting us going again..... read more

Bike needed a battery and we called ahead and found they had one. Service guys were great and they had the new battery installed and we were on our way in less than 45 min. read more

My wife and I were heading to CA from VA. Took the long way around. While in Kalispell, MT my wife hurt her back, We made it as far as Twin Falls and she said that it was time to "throw in the towel". Fortunately Snake HD was close to the motel we were at. I explained the situation and they had no problem storing both bikes until I could get back later in the summer. Even helped me secure a rental car! When I returned, both bikes had been washed and stored. Kevin helped me load and secure one bike in the p/u truck and one on a trailer. No charge for anything! Their service was great. If my local HD shop was only half as good as Snake HD I'd be happy. Too bad they're 2,400 miles away :( read more

I went in to browse some bikes, looking to get into Harleys. As a younger kid, I usually get ignored when looking at bikes. But in this case I spent over an hour, personally being shown every motorcycle in the showroom and ouside, sitting on a variety of bikes. And I have to say, never in my life have I been treated so incredibly by a salesman. They never pushed me into buying a single thing, and were extremely friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone I know, I definitely planning on purchasing a bike from them soon. I can say that they made a loyal customer for life! read more

While headed to Sturgis for the 75th, I realized half way through the trip, I forgot my windshield! They actually set me up with one to use off a rental for the week absolutely free of charge!!!!! I have to say Kris and TJ are completely into customer satisfaction!!! read more

On our way to Sturgis my bike started making a weird sound from the primary case. Got to Twin Falls and brought my bike to the service department at Snake HD. Dragez and Tim at the service department were awesome, got my bike in the shop quickly and had it figured out and fixed quickly. Got me back on the road in less than 3 hours. If the tv show, "Cheers," took place in a motorcycle dealership instead of a bar, it would be Snake River HD. I just purchased a new bike from here and it was an excellent experience. When I go to a new dealership I like to look around and evaluate the place. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the service bay and professionalism of its staff. For most, perception is reality. If the place looks great and the staff is friendly, you feel you've come to the right place. I researched this place thoroughly and it passed all my tests. I put it against other Harley dealerships and none could check all the boxes like Snake HD. If you like a dealership that helps a customer find a battery charger 15 minutes after they've already closed, then I think you should come here. read more

On a motorcycle road trip to Boise, ID we stopped in Twin Falls to get a bite to eat and take a little break from the incessant Idaho wind. While driving through town looking for a place to eat that was local and not part of a never ending chain of restaurants I managed to find a speed bump (okay so it was a small curb wall in the middle of a parking lot). This little shortcut popped the spring off of the kick stand of my bike rendering the stand unable to stay in the up position. We took the dislodged spring to Snake Harley-Davidson to see about repairs. What a marvelous experience, one employee held on to the bike and leaned it off of the kick stand while another employee installed the wayward spring back on the kick stand. All this with in 10 - 15 minutes of pulling in their parking lot. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, and they didn't try to charge me for time it didn't take. I would say that is downright honest. read more

I am not a fan of Harley dealers in general, especialy here in CA, they tend to be arrogant, unhelpful unless you are about to buy a new bike, they dont want to work on older bikes, and when their mechanic screws something up they never admit to fault. Then there is Chesters Snake Harley. I have called there a couple times on the way to Sturgis in past years and they have been helpful, but this year they really stood up to the plate. I had my Alternator go out, they traced the nearest part to Millwalkee, had it overnight shipped, re-arranged their shop schedule to get me in first thing and had me back on the road by 3pm. And they didnt charge me an arm and a leg. Josh the service guy could not have been more helpful, Chad the manager was great. But that isnt where it ends. 2 months after getting home the new alternator went out again. I traced the problem to the alternator leads cut through by the rotor because it was installed incorrectly. I took photos, sent them to Josh and Chad. There was no argument, even though I am 1000 miles away. They accepted fault and immediately ordered a new Stator. I understand, mechanics sometimes screw up, they were rushing the job to get me back on the road and there service dept was backed up, there is no blame, but they made it right with no pushback. That is customer service, now if only I can find that here in CA. read more
