This place is in some need of updates big time, and for what they are charging (500 bucks a night)…read morethey should be able to actually make them. We arrived and found things pretty cramped, no big deal, however going to sleep felt like we had the entire HVAC unit in our room, so sleep was lost to us as it was too loud. If we turned the heat off to try to sleep the drafts in the windows and doors would have left us freezing cold. The third night the ski resort ran the snow maker until 2am, no exaggeration, it sounded like a leaf blower right outside our door. Things got so bad we barricaded the door with an extra mattress. I've yet to hear any response from Kandahar regarding these problems. Wifi is not the greatest so don't expect a lot. The ski in/ski out option is nice, but not for what you pay as this is literally the only benefit to staying at Kandahar. I will not return and suggest others take this into consideration when looking for a place, this is just another company demanding a high price simply because they can without much to offer. Broken vanity lights, doors that blow open and won't close (bathrooms, bedrooms), handrails that splinter into your hands (or ruin your gloves) as you maneuver up and down the long staircases in ski boots and gear to get to the ski areas near kandahar. Hot tub hours at ridiculous and they claim to be 'working on the hot tub' frequently and I don't know who would want to trek towards of 4 staircases in frigid Temps just to get to the hot tub anyway. Laundry only available during hours you'd rather be doing something else... 4-730.

Really comfy rooms and perfectly sized kitchens. We've stayed here a few times in Chamonix and Davos and would stay here over anywhere else in TSV. We live in Colorado but prefer the charm of this amazing mountain and these condos. Perfect!

This…read moreunit is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which takes up half of the top floor of the Snow Bear Condos and has beautiful 25 ft vaulted ceilings. There is a full kitchen, which my mom took full advantage of, equipped with a wine cellar. Once we moved the furniture around a bit, the place was large enough to handle 5 adults and two hyper little boys with all their Christmas presents. I was excited about what they call a "European" shower, but it was not as great as hyped up to be. My nephews although enjoyed the jet tub. The whole living space has a beautiful Southwest Rustic feel. All in all the living accommodations were wonderful. Extras: -Hot Tub (much needed after skiing and the freezing weather) -Ski in and Ski out ability, but if you want to get to the village there is a shuttle running most of the time which will come pick you up where every you want. They were always super friendly. -Discounts on ski rentals - Breathtaking views of the snowy mountains Suggestions: -All wheel or 4 wheel drive is needed to get to this place, unless you want to walk (or shuttle) from the bottom of the mountain. -Don't run up the hill. Elevation + below zero weather + Christmas dinner do not make for a pleasant run.

This place is tucked away with a couple of other hotels and ski-focused businesses. Our room was nice and large, including the bathroom. You were able to see the mountains from our room window. Since it was near the end of the tourist season, there weren't very many people staying there. Additionally, they have a parking garage at the bottom of the building which requires a code to access. They also had a restaurant and bar that we didn't take advantage of since the bar is only opened seasonally. There was a rec room with TV, pool table, foosball table, and piano. My only problem with this hotel was there was no air conditioning. I understand that most of the time a/c is not required given the area but it would have been useful. Having the window open didn't fully cool down the room. There was a box fan in the room, but it was so loud, you wouldn't be able to sleep it with it on. I liked where this place was located as it was near some walking trails. Also the stray dog cantina is right across the street (you can see my review). I will definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others.

The restaurant is top notch, with a reasonably priced world class wine list. A gem in every respect!!

We were extremely pleased with the service and guidance we received during both transactions. Page took the time to help us explore a number of neighborhoods during our search as well as listening to our needs. We took our time and never felt rushed or pushed to look at any property that didn't fit the bill. When we sold our home as part of a relocation, Page was knowledgeable of the market, and enumerated the factors that we should consider in preparing our home for potential buyers. During both the purchase and sale process, Page represented our, not her own, interests in negotiations. All of our calls and questions were addressed in a timely manner and all documents were prepared and delivered efficiently. Negotiations with other agents were done in a forthright manner, without unnecessary delays or gamesmanship. She was also able to refer us to an excellent realtor in our relocation destination. Above all, Page and her assistant, Susan, kept a lively sense of humor during the process without ever sacrificing their professionalism.
