I originally met Adina based on a suggestion from my wedding planner…read more When we originally met I was very happy with Adina and she presented me with many different options. So many in fact that I was overwhelmed when I left. She followed up our meeting with an email explaining the different ideas we had discussed, but I could not remember all of the styles, so I asked for another meeting so that we could cut down on the selections and I could remember what it was that we had discussed and I could select a specific style. Adina was getting ready to go to New York to do a show and present some of her new line at the show. We met and I was able to get the selection down to two styles and she said that once the artwork (I was to provide based on our theme) she would present to inkjet versions for me to decide which would be the final one to print. Her contract states that she will only do a max of X revisions. I was hesitant to sign at that point, but Adina assured me that she never really followed that and she wanted to make sure that we were both happy with the final product. So, I signed the contract at which time she also stated that she would be sending me a questionnaire to complete to track our conversations and that there would be some overlap. All throughout this process she was aware that this was for a same sex couple. Her questionnaire arrived, but it was all addressed to the bride throughout the form. I started to fill it out, but as I went through it, all that was presented were questions for the bride to answer and then information regarding the groom. I finally refused to complete the form and sent an email back to Adina explaining how I felt regarding the form. To Adina's credit, she was very apologetic and said that we could meet and discuss it. I was not sure what we would discuss, but I accepted the apology and tired to move forward. When we did get the mockups of the invites, we selected the format and the style of font that we wanted to use. This took it from about 5 or so possible choices to one. It was then that we started to run into problems. We requested some word changes and some spacing changes. We were completing the fourth such change, basically clearing up some of the issues that I thought should have been fixed automatically when the word changes were made at which point she said any additional changes would be charged, which were in direct conflict of what she had said when I hesitated to sign the contract. I re-read the contract and reiterated our conversation at which point she said that she would still charge for additional changes. Luckily for us, this round cleared all of the issues with what she had done. We left without having her finish the job and found someone who was much better to work with and the final version was worth the extra money that we had to pay. We actually had to bring our wedding planner in to finish things off with Adina as well. Our wedding planner was not able to determine what the problem had been either.

I have been looking for someone to replace the cover on my kitchen nook cushions for 2 yrs or more…read more& couldn't find anyone. I saw Embroidery for the soul & took a chance of asking them if they would do such job. Elizabeth took it upon herself to let me know how much material I would be needing & will be glad to do so. I dropped off the cushions plus the material & within less than a week they were done. Not only that they did an excellent job but price wise it was very affordable. Paper Fling was JUST what I was looking for!…read more When looking for designs for my wedding invitations I spent months looking for ideas online first but I was still unsure. I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of the paper and see the printed ink before spending hundreds of dollars. I first went to Paper Source in Bellevue. Their store was beautiful, but when I asked for help with invitations they pointed at a huge stack of gigantic books full of invitations. Not quite the help I was looking for. After about 15 minutes of being overwhelmed and trying to find a place to set this 10 pound book of paper, we left. I ended up going to Paper Fling with my fiance and one of my bridesmaids. Even though we had no appointment, Ruth immediately sat us down and started working with us. I told her what I wanted and she brought out the perfect book of examples. I found what I was looking for in less then five minutes. Ruth was great to work with and she helped us pick font styles, wording, etc. My proofs were emailed in PDF format to me within a week, and my invitations arrived at the store two weeks after that. Smooth, efficient service with a smile! I definitely recommend buying your invitations from a wonderful store like this as opposed to just buying them online! There is definitely a price, though. For 75 invitations with folds, pockets, and heavy paper it ran us about $600. But being totally satisfied with the end product? Priceless!

Thank you for the amazing experience and we will definitely be back to embroider more custom-made things for our business. I was completely happy and they were able to fulfill my order just in time for Christmas! The cost was about $20 to digitize and for the size of my Embroidery project about $20 for each Embroidery design.

She has amazing style and a sharp eye! I think of her like a personal stylist. She will listen to you, and then zero in on finding you the perfect item(s). I did ask her which days she works, because I KNOW if I need something, she WILL find it! She will also be honest if something is just okay on you, or phenomenal. This is what we sometimes need - another set of eyest that will be genuine / honest. Marge is awesome, as is the rest of the lovely staff that I have encountered.
