No Show. I booked an…read moreappointment through Living Social for 10 windows. I called them and let them know we had 4 windows and a sliding glass door. They said the sliding glass door would not count. I could understand if I said 8 or 9 windows and a sliding glass door but 4? Anyway, we negotiated and they agreed to do all the windows and the door. We had an appointment set. Guess what? That's right. They never showed. Nor did they answer their phone when I tried to see if they were coming. I worked with Living Social to get a refund on my voucher (which had apparently been redeemed before the appointment was even supposed to have taken place). I left a comment that they didn't show and they had the nerve to respond that they in fact cancelled the appointment, not that they didn't show. Whatever....call it a "no show" or a "cancellation", they never came when they said they would nor did they let me know in advance that they weren't coming. Update: via living social's correspondence mechanism the business says " Ok your [sic] upset we don't do shady biz if I was shady I would have never unredeemed your voucher I would have kept it and lied and said you were a no show we are a honest company Have a nice day" Yeah I'm upset. I wanted my windows cleaned! Lolz Anyway, not sure how the voucher was redeemed if the service was never provided. Either way, a good business wants the customer to have a good experience and works to make that happen. These guys, instead of trying to make things right, fire off defensive responses. Sorry there are too many businesses to waste more time with these guys.

I also sent an email through their website, no response either. Finally, at my 5th attempt someone did call back, we made an appointment for 11 am on a Saturday. They never came. I called, no answer. Left a message, no answer. Sent a text, received a reply "I am on a job, driver is late, trying to contact him now". That's it! Nobody got back to me as to when they'd be coming. I called and texted again, no reply. I contacted Living Social to get my money back. They contacted the merchant, who said they DID come for the appointment but I was not at home when, in fact, I was home waiting for them all morning. Living Social sided with the company and wouldn't refund my money but offered credit in their DealBucks. What a horrible experience!!!! Please, do yourself a favor and steer clear from 21st Century Window Cleaning N Services.
