Factory Outlet North Finchley is nothing like that. There are some good deals to be had, even a rack starting at just 5 pounds. I'll admit the clothes in this shop are taste-full and beautiful. There is a particularly nice brown ruffle dress in a silky material for 22 pounds and some lovely knits that wrap around your body. The staff here is friendly enough and not up your arse, in a way that is common in a small store. I like to come in here and have a poke around. I will note this store only sells clothing so no handbags or shoes on offer.

It opened towards the end of 2013 yet still feels modern. The stores located here like any Outlet can be hit or miss depending on the season and how lucky you can get, but there is a good selection of brands including Boss, Calvin Klein and Marks and Spencer. There's a large amount of places to eat and drink here too, as there is around Wembley as a whole. LDO also features a Cineworld Cinema. PRO TIP: Use the tube if coming here as Wembley Park Underground Station is only a short walk away, parking is expensive and on an event day, you'll be paying a flat rate and spending hours getting out of the car park. Overall, it's a cool location to grab a bite to eat or shop, especially on a non-event-day, walking around the mall, you can also see the iconic Wembley Stadium arch. 4*

We're talking toiletries including shampoos, conditioners, moisturisers, shower gels, soaps, hand creams, cotton wool, cotton buds... We're talking household essentials - toilet and kitchen roll, tin foil, detergents and fabric softeners... I could go on all evening so I'll stop - you get the idea. I love a good cleaning session and this is the perfect place to stock up on my bits and pieces for just that. It's a complete mixed bag of many things that are truly worth no more than 99p and some things that may possibly be worth a pound or even a pound and a penny. However they sell After Eight mints in boxes small enough to fit in the 1970's metal holder that belonged to my nanny and is full of fond memories. For this unknowing act alone I recommend them to you all.

However, as it's situated in the middle Brent Cross shopping centre, I imagine it's ideal for shoppers. Like mist supermarkets now days, they have a large express self service line. Now you really can get in and out of here pretty quick. This is ideal for me as I'm normally only just there to grab a sandwich.

There is all the basic stuff like cheap dishes, ugly keychains..everything you would expect. What is interesting about this place is that there is an Internet cafe upstairs. One really good bit I almost missed...this shop has a pretty small soap section but they have Schwarzkopf mousse for 1 pound. I use it for the front of my hair.

This Asda also has a multi-storey car park which makes it convenient to bring the car as there is usually always space. It is conveniently located on Edgware Road and has easy access. Many buses also serve it including the 32 and 142.

The only awkward thing is that they DO take cards BUT you have to go across the street to the Munro's news agent and use their card machine to pay. And when we were ready to move back to America we simply gave them a call, they picked up all our stuff, and sold it for us! We got back about 80% of what we'd paid. Not bad at all for a year of a house filled with nice antiques, and a bunch of great items that we took back home to America. Now that we're back in London, I'm sure we'll return to the Southgate Auction Rooms, even if we live a bit farther away.
