For instance teeth - I had been giving Ricky Martin the dental chews from the big chain pet stores in the US and UK every night. But what they pointed out to me (which I knew!) was that they were packed with carbs and so are they really helpful in the long run for your pets teeth (carbs - sugar - decay!) - answer likely not. The recommendation was a "treat" comprising dried fish skin in crunchy format. No carbs, and robust thin slivers of fish scales that are forced between the teeth and help remove plaque. Since Ricky refuses to eat food with fish in it I was very skeptical- but right there in the store he crunches that thing to oblivion. Bought and bag and every night he loves it! So he presumably gets some omega-3's too. Nice! The two lady owners (Lynn and Sarah) are the BEST! In terms of customer service and as dog sitters they are awesome. Westmead and their super friendly staff tick all the boxes. They have a big green space where the dogs are walked and where they can run. We just got back from a 2 week trip in France and picked up our boy. He was excited to see us, happy and well! Two big thumbs up!!
