I have used Snelling in the past. When I had gone everyone was professional and courteous, and actually tested my skills on the computer to see where they could place me. Unfortunately, my skills years ago were not the same as they are now. I recently graduated from school in the field of Business & Technology..specifically to work in an office, and figured I could go back and test again and get some help finding a professional job. (Just some background on my situation, I was a cashier while I was pregnant and attending school.) Similar to the other reviewer I also called and emailed Snelling multiple times with no response. So the other day I decided to pack up me and the baby and visit in person since I was getting no where through phone or email. When I entered, Marilyn, passive aggressively told me if I was looking for a job where I could bring the baby they didn't have any jobs for me. Ha! Good one Marilyn... Anyway, when I give the other man in the office my name, Marilyn claims she knows who I am and that we have been in correspondence with one another. This is a bold face lie. I never received any kind of correspondence from anyone. But ok. She prints out my resume and goes over it with me. Her corrective criticism via my resume were the only somewhat helpful information she gave to me and that's even giving her too much credit. But she lets me know that because I was a cashier people in business will look at my resume and simply discard it, and her best suggestion was to apply to be a hostess at the place her and her colleagues had just eaten at, not just once, but multiple times despite me ignoring her remark. I didn't just go to school for 8 months to be a hostess, nor did I come to an employment agency to be talked down to and passive aggressively told I couldn't do better than be a hostess at the restaurant next door. I will never return to this company, and I plan on telling anyone I know about my experience. Deserves a negative star rating. read more

I've been on board with Snelling since around May, 2018. I've been really pleased with the treatment I've received and apparently have had a completely different experience with Snelling than the other reviews on here. Since the moment Marilyn started working with me, I have been well taken care of. Marilyn is readily available and returns my calls and even makes sure to check in after any interviews I have. I work mostly short term placements currently, and Marilyn has been nothing but helpful and generous in giving her time and attention to help me find those placements. She has also been understanding when I have to refuse a placement or when I have asked to change placements. I have no qualms about recommending Snelling to others and I just have to say that Marilyn and Carmine and everyone else at Snelling who I have worked with have been great to me. read more

Years ago I used this place and secured employment I called them recently never heard back no returned calls nothing and I contacted more then one person. Of I come to an agency looking for employment opportunities at least give me the common courtesy of returning my call. Very disappointed in how the service at this place has gone down hill! My wife used Snelling and had a positive experience. They informed her of positions that fit her background and followed up with good communication. They sent her on 2 very good assignments with the 2nd leading to a permanent position. I have since recommended my sister. keep up the good work. read more
