The second time, they cut my fur baby up so bad that when I picked him up he tried to bite me. I laid him on the bed because I felt over a rough patch on his body only to discover that he has scabs over his body from being "groomed". That was Monday. I called today to make the owner, Dawn aware of the situation. She did not apologize. She just asked if I wanted him cut a little higher. I told her he wasn't cut bald In The fist place. She just demanded my phone number. Then she was rude when I merely asked the question of whether or not she had notes on how we liked our cairn terrier groomed. She flew off the handle and yelled "I'm not going through this with you! I know how to cut her!" The backstory is the first time we took our dog there she didn't cut her like a cairn terrier. The next time we took her in we brought a picture just to be sure of getting the right cut. Worked out fine. So this time, without the pic, I was just double checking. And she obviously was not pleased with my impertinence. I asked her why asking if she kept notes was so bad. She yelled "if you dont like my work..." and gestured to the door. I took her cue and turned around with my now upset pup. As I left, her parting word was a sarcastic "Whatever!" There's no way I'd ever leave my dog with her. Dogs can't tell you how they've been treated when no one else is around......but I can.

I have (had) been a long-term customer of Fayetteville Veterinary. Recently, they told me several…read moretimes that my dog's care plan was complete and suggested I enroll her in the next plan. The plans are meant to save you some money on medications, routine checkups and some major procedures. After joining the new plan, I noticed an additional charge for the previous plan. When I called them, they advised I was told incorrectly and still had one payment left on the prior plan. There was no attempt to take responsibility or make it right. A $59 charge lost them the new plan, future boarding, and a long-term customer. This completely changed my experience with this vet, and I advised them I wanted to cancel the new plan since I was still being charged for the old one. They charged me an additional $300 to cancel the new plan I had been on for two days. This vet is only about money. Whatever you do, don't fall for the monthly payment plans they offer. The "savings" are not worth it (and really don't save you at all since you still pay for medications) and they will do everything they can to squeeze as much out of you as possible.
