Terrible. We have…read morealways loved Kona Ice, and had a truck at our house for our six-year-old son's drive-thru front yard birthday party in this COVID-19 environment. The truck showed up with a broken blade. They had no replacement in the truck and the replacement didn't show up until 47 minutes into our 1 hour party, and the ice machine was not operational until 51 minutes into our 1 hour party. By that time more than half our guests had departed without receiving the Kona ice, and the few who remained had been waiting for nearly an hour. The driver/operator was nice and professional throughout, but then the company expected me to pay the full price. Chris, an owner/operator, called and became combative on the phone, stating that they had "fixed" the situation and had provided the service we had agreed to. We agreed to one hour of service from 12-1pm, and received nine minutes of service in that time window (12:51-1:00pm) for the roughly 1/3 of our guests who waited around that long. The truck stayed longer, but the party was over at that time. Unacceptable service, made doubly so by the "demand" that we pay for a service we did not receive as agreed upon.

Keep your eyes peeled for the cute colorful stand! There are a variety of flavors, such as strawberry, banana, lime, margarita, peach, pina colada, blue raspberry, pink lemonade, etc., as well as toppings (such as cream, Ghirardelli chocolate, marshallows, etc.), specialty flavors, and signature items. Iceys come in 3 sizes -Kiddie, Regular, and Jumbo! I had The Buzz (that had cherry, grape, and blue raspberry) and the Weekend at the Beach (with green apple, red raspberry, and peach) - OMG - the shaved ice was smooth and wonderful in texture. The flavors were distinct, and compared to other iceys that are out there, this was not at all watered down and full of the punch! I loved that both a spoon and a straw were provided, and that the portions are oh-so-generous! The owners are so friendly and so welcoming - there's also a tent set up outside so that you can enjoy your treat with a nice breeze. And boy are snowballs splendid. They are slightly different in composition In that liquid flavor is dispensed over shaved ice instead of the flavor being frozen in and then scooped out into the cup but the end result is still the same --pure happiness. When entering the property it's really nice to see that there is plenty of parking. It's also very nice to see families hanging out at the picnic table outback on a warm day eating their snowballs and having fun with one another. The times that we have been here the service has always been excellent and we too have enjoyed our snowballs.
