Stopped by Disfrutas on Feb 10. Yeah, it was definitely a little too cold for ice cream, but honestly, who cares? Good dessert is good dessert, no matter the weather! My sister-in-law put me on to this place, so I had to give it a shot. First impressions? Loved the vibe. You can tell they put thought into the decor, and since they had just opened, the place was decked out with balloon decorations; a nice touch! I decided to keep it simple and went with strawberries with Nutella, and Oreos. Let me tell you, they did not skimp on the Nutella! Every bite was rich, chocolatey, and just the right amount of sweet. My son got the shaved ice with gummy bears, and he was all about it. One thing I really appreciated was the buzzer system. You order, they hand you a buzzer, and once your order is ready, it goes off. Super convenient and keeps things organized. Plus, service was quick, which is always a win. Definitely coming back to try an elote loco! If the rest of the menu is as good as what we had, this spot is gonna be a regular stop for sure.

I spent $33 for everything. I think it was actually reasonable price. I wouldn't get the pepino locos again, you could probably do a better job at home. The mango twist and esquite was good. There's limited tables, so maybe best to eat in your car. Everything came out fast, we waited at most maybe 5 minutes. I would come again to satisfy this craving. I heard there's a better spot tho in PG Mall near Pink.

Disfruta is a solid spot for sweet treats! The Nutella with Oreo crumbs was hands down the best--strawberries and cream inside, Nutella on the side, and I asked for a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top, which made it 1000 times better. The mix was a perfect creamy blend. I also tried the Number 6, a rainbow minuta (shaved ice). It was a little on the sweet side, but that's expected with syrup and ice. The gummy bears were a nice touch. The Nutella y Oreo was $9, and the shaved ice was $4. They even have dollar items like the paleta payaso--a marshmallow dipped in chocolate for just $1. Overall, definitely date-night approved! The employees speak english and Spanish, The place wasn't too busy, but it had a nice crowd since it just opened. Worth checking out!

I will say prepare a budget cause there's a lot to get, I ended up spending around $40 for everything I got. Let's start with the beef lumpia. It was crispy and tasted pretty good. I'm a sucker for spice so I would've loved it to be a little spicier or maybe offer some chili oil on the side. Next is the star of the show, the lechon kawaii bowl. The pork is so tender and perfectly crispy! I added garlic rice instead of the usual which was a great addition. I asked to try their vinegar sauce which comes with garlic and jalapeño in it which I found to be amazing. Lastly, the taro milk tea is heavenly, I'm still thinking about it!!! The service was friendly and because it was my first time they even offered me a coupon for the next time I come back and I will definitely be back! Plenty of indoor seating as well with a whole market inside where you can find an assortment of Filipino food, snacks, drinks, and desserts.

Sisig, pass. It was too spicy and also dry. We do like the grocery section. The service is nice and the Ube shake is great. Will be happy to return for grocery needs, but not the restaurant. Food seemed rushed, out of a can, unfresh and not worth the high prices. We will cook Filipino dishes at home instead.

The Chicken tenders weren't tender and the coating was over-salted. The full rack of BBQ Pork ribs was a winner, tender and meaty with great flavor. The Slow-smoked Chicken is delicious and a nice, moist change from the usual chicken treatments. The Smoked Chicken Wings were great too. I wouldn't get the Texas Beef Brisket or the Carolina Pulled Pork again, but they weren't bad, just lots of other choices that were better! The sides here are stand-outs too. I almost didn't get the vegetarian Collard Greens since I love collards cooked with meat but these were delicious -- they never made it to the microwave, they were so vinegary-good when I sampled them cold lol! The Mac & Cheese was good and cheesy. The baked beans were good but again vegetarian where I'd prefer meat included and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. The Skillet Cornbread is the best I've had, slightly sweet with a good corn flavor that made me decide to buy a WHOLE skillet rather than just the generously portioned slice next time, especially since it's such a good value. I do regret not trying the coleslaw and potato salad so again, next time. The little rolls are tasty too, moist and slightly sweet but it's a pity they aren't burger-size so you can make a sandwich with all that delicious meat and sides.

I don't recall any meat in the greens. And, the Mac and cheese, I enjoyed the texture, but wish the flavor profile had sharp cheddar cheese, but it was still good. I just love this spot. I've been coming here over the years to get my fill of Pennsylvania Dutch…read moretreats, which allows me to get from DC without having to drive all the way to Pennsylvania. This spot has so many wonderful food stands. Upon walking in, you can pick up a cart to explore all of the stands. My kids love this place as much as me since you can find so much variety. Our first stop is the very busy Amish soft pretzel stand. My kids love the standard soft pretzel dipped in melted butter and topped with rock salt. My personal favorite are the stuffed soft pretzels like the pretzels stuffed with roast beef and cooper sharp cheddar. Nothing tastes better! There are also many other stands that offer fresh produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. I particularly like Bieler's Donuts, the same place you'll find packed lines in Philadelphia right here. It's such a fun place and my kids love it. But most importantly, this is dad's spot!

Using his wits, his ingenuity, and unparalleled levels of skill and perseverance, Aatami Korpi, who earns the moniker of "the man who cannot die," escapes not just bombs and machine gun fire but a plane deployed as a missile. And yet, the most moving moment of the film is not found in one of its many arresting action sequences but in a single line of dialogue, spoken by one of six Finnish men, who, along with one teenager and one boy, carrying hatchets, axes, and tools, interrupts the battle-finished Korpi's work on his new home to ask in Finnish, subtitled in English, "We thought you might need some help?" Speechless and shaking with relief and joy, Korpi watches the strangers get to work on his roof, walls, and foundation. That level of kindness, assistance, delight, joy, skill, and service can be seen in every vendor at the Dutch Country Market Thursdays through Saturdays at 9701 Fort Meade Rd in Laurel, MD. Whether it is homemade pretzels, pasta salads, chili, produce, meats, cheeses, popcorn, donuts, or varieties of dark chocolate, candy, or fudge you seek, you will find plenty to whet your appetite. Mind you, most, if not all, of everything contains zero preservatives. Our advice is to buy what you can enjoy soon or share your purchases with company before it's too late.
