Always something delicious and you are able to ask to sample different flavors. The employees are always kind and the service is very quick. It's a walk up window and it's moves quickly in my experience, even when there is a line. There are a few tables outside where you can sit, but we usually sit in our car out of ease and to listen to music.

They also opened it up to immediate family so a lot of us brought our kiddos. The setup is so simple! Get a cup of shaved ice and add a syrup to it - serve yourself style. you can mix as many of the flavors as you like and add as little or as much as you want, too. It all started on a smoky, 87 degree Saturday in July when our camping plans got a rain check and we were open for a good time. Big Mini Putt Club was initially discussed but nixed because we weren't feeling the downtown vibe or $12 a person/9 holes. Then, we looked up AJ's mini golf but they had a private event scheduled. Yelp suggested Double Dip and after one ring, the employee on the telephone sold us with $3.50/person for 18 holes and recommended we come before 7p (thanks for the tip!). We parked, watched the first half of England vs. France at Walker Roadhouse and walked right over to the Depot. The course was perfect (no waiting around and lots of shade) for our 4 year old who got her first hole in one on the 15th! The ice cream/cone of ice came out quick (no line either) at 6:30p and we had our choice of picnic tables with umbrellas to enjoy. Overall, great family date night! We rarely frequent the west side, besides for the zoo, but will have to plan another trip before the summer ends.
