Extremely tardy front desk and very rude medical assistant. I had to wait for 25 minutes before being checked in and seen by the doctor and waited for more than 15 minutes to be checked out. I had to ask them 3 times before they attended to me. People who came after me were attended to before me. This is after canceling my first appointment on Nov 12th just a few hours before the appointment. They just texted me on the morning of the appointment saying my appointment is canceled and I had to call them back twice before I got another appointment and that was more than a month away on Dec 16th. I just saw another review for Dr. Goldsmith that says that she does not show up for appointments and is bad with following up on patients. The reason I went for and the prescription to be sent to my pharmacy was not sent despite calling and letting them know twice. There's no access to the doctor once you are seen. It's also the doctor's responsibility to make sure this is done and it does not seem like they care. After I called and left a message the second time the medical assistant called me and literally shouted at me saying she is done her job and there was an issue with the pharmacy despite me trying to explain that my other doctor sends prescriptions here all the time and I have never had an issue and also the pharmacy going out of their way to check on it. Have never had this kind of experience visiting a doctor's office. People always go out of their way to make the patient comfortable. Will never go back or recommend this clinic to anyone. This is not the way to treat patients who have come to see a doctor for an illness. I never write reviews and never a negative one as I know how hard people work to keep a business running. I had to write this as I don't want any other new patients to undergo this ordeal specially when they are seeking healing for an illness from a qualified doctor's office. read more

I stopped going to Dr. Torrance after she encouraged me to take the experimental Covid (i.e. clot shot) in Spring 2021. I thought, she is nuts! No way! She even laughed that her husband got really sick after his shot. I told her that I have had reactions to multiple shots since childhood but she still thought I would be "fine" joining the experiment. I haven't had a sick day since the 1990's and raised 5 children...one who experienced regressive autistm after her MMR/varicella on the same day. I even shared that my uncle became paralyzed in his left hand after his 2nd Pfizer in March 2021 which ended up being a confirmed a vax injury from experts by August 2021. His brother got severe shingles after the J&J in March 2021 and was extremely sick for 6 weeks despite getting the shingles shots a few months prior to the J&J. I really think Dr. Torrance had to know it was experimental but the cash incentive from BigPharma brainwashed her into pushing this dangerous shot. Since 2021, I found out that I have 2 MTHFR mutations so "Thank the Lord!" I refused her advice. I found a better naturopath who has helped me keep healthy. Theresa Goldsmith is a horrible "dr" she is disorganized, forgetful and doesn't keep her word even when it's in writing. I got lab work done and was ignored for over a month, even after she stated we would go over the results, which is illegal to withhold. There is a reason she bounces around from different practices. She will even schedule virtual appointments, not show up and give excuses. Not behavior you would expect from a medical professional.Save your money opt for a different "naturopath" she doesn't care about people and their well-being she's in this industry for the wrong reasons. read more

I had been getting IV therapy an another clinic whose scheduling became erratic over the summer, so I came here to have a back-up with a more stable, established schedule to keep my treatment schedule consistent. Had that been a reality, I would be a regular patient instead of an angry reviewer. First, they will not accept an order from another office, even with bloodwork, and instead insisted I see their doctor and pay for bloodwork again. But the new "doctor" I saw didn't order the bloodwork. In fact during my visit I had to remind HER of the supplements she suggested. She seemed like a med student, not someone I would trust my health with. The following week for my first IV appointment, I got a call just 30 minutes prior (as I was driving there) telling me that I indeed needed bloodwork and they could only do a push that day until the tests came back. When I questioned why it hadn't been ordered the previous visit, a simple "the doctor is new to our office and doesn't know the procedure. WHY then is she seeing patients? While all this was happening, the person who does the IV and bloodwork proceeded to tell me a detailed story about her own foot injury, and how God had fixed her. I thought she was kidding, but I guess she confused sermon with doctor's office conversation. And for the record, it's LYME disease, not LYME'S. I scheduled out over a week to give the bloodwork time to come back so I could finally receive the IV therapy I need. I got a call, but no message, just yesterday from the office (too late to call back), and called in this morning, again AS I WAS DRIVING THERE, to confirm my appointment time, and they said the IV tech decided to take a vacation day and they couldn't see me. Had I not called in and made the effort that they could not or would not make, I would not have known. A waste of time, money and effort on all fronts. For twice the drive time and almost twice the cost, I expected a higher standard of care. If you expect professionalism, consistency, or affordable care, look elsewhere. read more

I switched to Snohomish Naturopathic from a great clinic in Seattle because of the crazy drive I would have to do weekly. Dealing with some irregularities and infertility, I made an appt to see Dr Torrance this week. Was not impressed with the front desk gal or the person who answered the phone to make my appt. Both were cold and seemed very bothered by my presence. However, Dr. Torrance was wonderful, understanding, and had a great bedside manner. My acupuncture session with her was very similar to my Seattle dr. She was caring and gentle. Made me feel confidant she could help me which is what I need to hear right now. They lost 1 star from me for the semi-rude office personnel and the fact that while in the treatment room and asked to meditate and relax I had to hear staff carrying on personal conversations in the break room next door and listen to the water flowing through pipes in the walls as someone flushed a toilet. Overall I am happy with my choice and will continue to see Dr Torrance. read more

Referred by a friend who lives in Lake Stevens, WA. The office was recently renovated and updated and it is beautiful, clean and welcoming. They offer many different services including acupuncture, Vasculyse, the HCG weight loss program, vitamin B shots and traditional Naturopathic medicine. Not all visits/services are covered by insurance, but if you're looking for a primary care provider, Dr. Lakshmi is covered by most insurance companies. All of the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Torrance is wonderful! I make the drive from Renton, WA once a week and I'd definitely say it's worth it. read more

Jonathan Dodds is awesome!! I received the best acupuncture treatment from Jon. He has such a vast knowledge of orthopedics, acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He was able to help me with a soleus injury but also more comprehensive wellness issues and his herbal formulas are the best I've every used! On the more personal side, Jon is a great listener and I really felt that I was being heard throughout my treatment. He really treats the whole person. Unfortunately I was only visiting but I would see Jon regularly if I lived in the area. I highly recommend him!! read more

Went to this clinic several years and was not helped by Dr. Content. She comes in with a smile but wasn't looking out for me and my health issues. The last straw was when I had a lot of health problems and came in for a follow up and she asked me why I was there and didn't seem to know what my history was and argued that she hadn't received my allergy test when they had received it 3 weeks prior. She then commented, "Well I guess we better look at it then." I was the one trying to find the cause of my health issues and bringing up suggestions. She showed no empathy and seems to have too many clients that she can't keep track of her patients. There was many miscommunications, as I would always have to relay messages through her nurse Tammy who would often cut me off and put words in my mouth when I was trying to tell her what the problem was. Then the message would not get relayed right to the Dr. I felt like Dr. Content didn't like me and didn't care for me as a patient. Her mannerism is kind but she is not on top of things. I would not recommend her or the clinic. I'm a social worker so understand well what patients need, and Dr. Content is lacking greatly. read more

pros...Jon Dodds is one of the best acupuncturists that i know. he gives some of the best orthopedic style acupuncture anywhere. i should know cause i'm an acupuncturist too. and i can say with pride that Jon is MY ACUPUNCTIRIST. i have waited about 1.5 years to get a treatment. it's a long way from san diego, ca. but well worth the wait. and after today's treatment i can honestly say that my back tension has just melted away. then having some fire cupping right afterwards is just icing on the cake. i love it when you get up you will feel 120% better. nothing like an acupuncture treatment done by an master in the field. in addition he also has some super potent herbal formulas to keep that wonderful feeling and treatment going. cons...well i did have to wait for my first trip up to seattle area to get another treatment. and i did have to wait for about a year and then some. but like i said it was well worth the drive up from san diego to get this treatment. nothing like a two day drive to get that back pain going. i have heard that no one else in the area is as accomplished in the orthopedic style as Jon. I recently started going to a Naturopathic Clinic in Snohomish and I really really liked them. This is the first time I am actually sending a recommendation out (unsolicited:)). But I think this will be of use to at least some readers. I first went to Snohomish Naturopathic Clinic - http://www.snohomishnaturopathic.com/ - few weeks ago because I've been battling with a few issues that the regular doctors keep treating with meds. While that is ok I am also big on natural healing. I know Lakshmi, the ARNP primary care provider there, and she always spoke about how the clinic handles a variety of cases from the common cold to even reproductive assistance. So I decided to visit the clinic and it's one of the best things I've done. The first thing that strikes you is now neat and spacious and peaceful the clinic is. Everyone there is really friendly - genuinely so. And it was so great to see them work towards finding the right balance of western medicine and natural remedies for me. None of the recommendations were forced on me and I was given alternates if I wasn't comfortable with anything in there. Nobody rushed me and they took the time to listen to my concerns and work through it step by step to address. I started with the nurse practitioner but the accupuncturist and the naturopath were brought in as appropriate. Two more things I found out while chatting with the woman at the front desk. They provide free 15-minute consultations which usually helps address things like the common cold. AND they see patients without insurance (and are reasonbly priced). Ever been in a situation where a visiting family member needed to see the doctor for a cold or cough or something? That's when this clinic may also come in handy. Last year my parents both fell ill when they were visiting us and they had to pay a few hundred dollars out of pocket despite having insurance coverage. Of course, this practice accepts all traditional health plans including the ones offered by Microsoft. I know a lot of people often ask about finding same day appointments or a reasonable clinic to take visitng family - this would be good option for you. read more

Employees at the Snohomish Naturopathic Clinic are rude and have poor customer relationship skills. A month ago I called the office from my car to let the office know that I was stuck in traffic. When I arrived (11.5 minutes after the appointment time), I went to the reception area to check in. There were three employees in the reception area all riveted to a conversation with another patient. After being ignored for a couple of minutes, the other patient looked embarrassed and referring to me said "Why don't you wait on this other person? I'm not talking about anything important." I was finally acknowledged by one of the three employees who told me that there was a rule about not seeing anyone who was more than 10 minutes late. Clearly I was the patient who was going to be "taught a lesson" -- otherwise why did the 3 employees try so hard to ignore me? I accept that it is my responsibility to be punctual for appointments and that I was 1-1/2 minutes beyond the 10 minute grace period. Unfortunately, this is an office where that rule seems to apply in only one direction, since I waited nearly 15 minutes for a previous appointment. I have heard that the practitioners are good, but I don't plan to return to an office where the staff are rude. read more
