I am 18 weeks pregnant, and a combination of that as well as several years worth of car accidents created a disaster in my neck. One sneeze, and it was all over for me. I was a little nervous, since I typically trust Yelpers, and I felt like I was venturing into uncharted territory. Anyways, turns out that Dr. Suzanne Shay actually specializes in pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic medicine. What a fantastic coincidence! I'm still a little sore today, but I definitely can more a lot more, which comes in handy checking those blind spots. What's more, Dr. Shay couldn't have a more calm, personalized bedside manner. I started seeing Dr. Shay about 3-4 years ago when I was having some lower back pain. I was impressed when she started asking questions to understand my lifestyle instead of just giving me an adjustment and sending me on my way. Through a combinations of chiro adjustments, changes to my sleeping position, and stretching I no longer have any back pain. Dr. Shay is holistically focused. She has advised me on my diet and due to chronic digestive issues I described, she recommended food allergy testing which revealed significant gluten and dairy allergies. Through her advice I've been able to change my diet and over time feel like a completely new person. Dr. Shay has been my chiropractor for many years, and she is very gifted. I broke my neck when I was a teenager and I have a hard time trusting anybody to adjust my neck. She is patient and gets it every single time. Recently when I wasn't able to come into the clinic after a surgery, Dr Shay came to my house ON HER DAY OFF to care for me. Writing this review for massage- I have been going to Cynthia for multiple years. The clinic itself is well organized, bills my insurance correctly, and is clean. The massage begins with Cynthia asking me how my problem area is and then asking me how I would have her address the problem. She is then attentive and caring for the next hour. Care was average. Not overly impressed. Like any typical Chiro you get about four actual minutes of care. After having not been in, in a while I went in and was seen for a basic adjustment. We then received a $100 bill for a re-examination. This was an additional two minutes of evaluating me as if I was a new client. I was not informed this was an additional charge.This was totally unnecessary and not covered by my insurance. My appt would normally be around $15 per visit. Very shady way of adding on extra unnecessary fees. Chiro is already a rip off this one takes the cake. read more

The staff at Corner on Wellness are very knowledgeable about the Ideal Protein diet plan. Doctor Shay lead a really informative presentation about the program and it's health benefits. My wife has been on the program for 6 months and lost 50+ pounds. She loved it some much she became a weight lose coach. I can't comment on the chiropractics or massage as I haven't had any of those services done. However if their weight loss program is any indication of how they do things I'm sure it is top notch as well. read more

Dr. Suzie Shay is the best chiropractor I have found. She is trained in many different ways of manipulation and can always find something that works. She also listens to everything you say and even remembers between visits and follows up. She is takes into account everything going on in your life that may have thrown you out of alignment so that she can troubleshoot and solve the problems instead of just treating symptoms. My back is stubborn and does not do what it should when it should. It always overreacts to adjustment. Dr. Shay is able to work with me and work with my body to finally get results. I have seen her after multiple car accidents and she has always made THE difference! If you have to wait for an appointment it is worth the wait to see her! read more

I feel I have been very lucky to find Dr. Shay and Doyle Chiropractic Clinic. Several of my friends and I have all received outstanding care. They can almost always fit me in on short notice, have a wonderful friendly staff who always seem to know who you are when you walk in the door. The front staff has also been very helpful in resolving the inevitable insurance problems that arise. Dr. Shay performs a thorough exam and history on the first visit and I am extremely confident in her skills. They also offer massage therapy services and discount package services that save me hundreds of dollars over using insurance. Although it doesn't apply to me, they also seem to treat a large number of children. I highly recommend both Dr. Shay and her husband Dr. Arthur. read more
