We tried large quantities of most consumer grade products available from retailers like Home Depot and spent a fortune on them. More than the flat fee I paid JAPCO. Right from the first call I made to JAPCO staff and every dealing with their Technical Experts we were impressed with their knowledge and execution was top notch. Our situation was very serious and most concerning as they breached the foundation and ran rampant throughout the house. James and Mike, the Technical Experts were very personable and knew their stuff. With the shear number of Carpenter Ants it took a few applications but it is now one week since the last application and we haven't seen a sign of these damaging insects. I called JAPCO on 3 occasions to schedule visits and JPACO worked the appointments into my schedule. With the one year warranty I can sleep at night knowing they have my property and best interests in mind. There was no nickel and diming like some of their competitors as they worked on a flat fee. He does a thorough job no matter the task, and doesn't cut corners. I've even witnessed him kicking through snow in the usual drop spots to ensure a complete pick up is done, despite it being buried!... He makes snow removal look like effortless and somehow even is pretty and has "curb appeal" when he's finished... He also gives great lawn care tips and advice just because he cares! I haven't hired him yet for fall or spring cleans, but referred him to a neighbour who did, who raves about his services there too. This is a small business owner who is a down to earth good hard working guy, and is totally worth supporting over the more established names. His personal reputation is on the line at each and every job, and he works hard to ensure it's upheld and the customer is happy

They are very responsive, clear, helpful, courteous communicators; they accurately estimated the time and "manpower" that would be needed; their rates are competitive; they were on time; nothing was damaged; they were willing to "problem solve" on site to successfully move a heavy, tricky item; and they were willing to do an additional move of a separate large item at a moment's notice. Sweet touches like offer of coffee for an early morning move and a gift of a little cactus plant underscore the care this local business takes in providing attentive, thoughtful service. 5+ stars!

This work was done in the early spring of 2024. When the crew arrived to our home, they were respectful and very fast. We had the power raking and aeration done to our front and back yard. The crew worked fast and did a very good job of raking up all of the dead grass and spruce cones. We never heard any swearing or angry talk by any of the crew. Everybody was calm and methodical. Their final price was fair considering that there was a crew of 3 was here for nearly 2 hours. We definitely WILL be rehiring Legendary Lawns in the future. Thank you.
