This holiday market was fine, but manage expectations. I waited for about 20-25 minutes in line to get in on a Saturday evening. The good thing is that there is no admission fee. It's super busy here during peak times. The food variety was okay, with some savory items like poutine, raclette, tacos, and dumplings. There are waffle, cookies, crepes, and hot cocoa abound for sweets. Expect to pay a premium for treats. The waffle I had was not bad, while the raclette sandwich was passable. Just FYI, that cheese can be overpowering. Most of the stores do not sell Christmas/holiday-themed products, and don't expect this to be a European-type Christmas market. You can get a variety of jewelry, art, food, kitchen, and clothing products. It's nice to see the signs reveal where the vendors are from. However, I wasn't too enticed to buy much, save a tote bag from a familiar artist in the area. Street parking can be nightmarish, or you can save yourself the stress (but not $) by parking in one of the nearby garages. If you're willing to walk across Fort Point Channel to Seaport by parking somewhere near South Station or Financial District, you'll definitely save yourself some money.

2025 review here: I understand that rising costs are a thing but wow this market is so expensive compared to other years. We went for the Christmas vibes so we didn't expect to get much from the market. Luckily there were no lines to get in on a Sunday evening but it was still quite crowded. We got a couple food items to try- dumplings and some hot lattes. Both were ok but the prices were $12 for 6 dumplings, and $12 for each latte- my wallet is crying Since this is a pretty large market, all the vendors are pretty established and come from different areas in the region (even from NY). You won't be finding really small local artists/shops here. I wish there was a larger variety of shops that included more handmade items. In summary- it's as expected for the area. I was disappointed with the prices for the quality but that's just on theme for Boston in general

Free admission and waited about 20 mins in line on Black Friday. On weekends if you wanted to skip the line you can download the seaport app and pay a fee to reserve a time but I don't think that's needed. They have so many vendors, mom/pop, artisans and food to explore and see where it is great for all ages.

This was not what I expected. I was expecting more holiday items. Instead it appeared to be booths that retail stores rented out or possibly Etsy booths? It was like going to a small outside malls with even smaller retailers with limited selection. Overall it would probably work for most people who are looking for a unique Christmas gift?

We had a great time at snow port. We bought timed tickets because it was cold!!! Not a lot of vegan options but I did score an amazing Amy Winehouse t shirt. My son enjoyed the hot chocolate out of a croissant and raved about the pixza

The food was surprisingly good and there were many cute stores! But we had to wait about an hour before going in. The wait for food wasn't as long as I expected! Overall, it was enjoyable!

Wonderful time here!! What a great market in the center of downtown area. It does get very crowded and trying to get your way through the market, especially the food area is overwhelming at first. Just so many people in the same area and there's limited seating to enjoy the food and drinks. One side is shops and the other is food. We spent a good 2 hours here walking around. We opted to get hot chocolate and shop first. Then we enjoyed some food-- got the Nutella crepe which is made fresh to order and really cool to see them make it and the pasta that they cook fresh and served out of a cheese wheel. Yum yum yum! There's literally so much to do and see in this market! Plus is so pretty with the lights and decor.

We were lucky to be in town the same weekend Snowport kicked off its Christmas season. It's a storybook holiday fest, everything you'd imagine is there to get you in the mood for Christmas- Christmas music in the air, lots of artisanal and craft vendors with unique, gift worthy items and a large area designated for food vendors complete with hot cider, hot chocolate varieties (try Buddy version) and plenty of comfort food choices. My favorite is the Baked Cheese Haus - cheese melted off a cheese wheel into a baguette. It screams warm comfort just looking at it. We happened to be there at open and there was already a decent crowd standing in line. It became increasingly crowded as noon came around.

I came across the Snowport village on Instagram and I was so happy I got the chance to visit it while in Boston. There were so many amazing small businesses and local vendors! One of my favorites was Sock Puppet City! This booth was silly, outrageous and fun! Joe was great with customer service and knew all the sock puppet's backstories! There was so much different food to choose from as well and little Christmas bars everywhere. My mistletoe margarita was pretty expensive for no bells and whistles but it was very strong. The elote cup was absolutely delicious and warmed me up! Let's talk about that fresh pasta in a cheese wheel! My god, it was everything I wanted! It is definitely worth checking out!!

'Tis the season! This is one of the biggest holiday markets in Boston. I've gone a couple of times and it's definitely a fun holiday to do, but it can be very congested given the traffic. Hats off to whoever markets for this since each year it seems to get bigger. There are many vendor stalls set up and prices are what you would expect for the area. Our first attempt last year we gave up considering there was 20 minutes of traffic going across the bridge from the financial district and that would've made us late for dinner reservation. Our second attempt we ate before hanging out in the market nearby. If you are driving, I would recommend booking a parking spot beforehand to avoid frustrations. There was still a line just to get in since they have to manage the capacity. We loved the seasonal drinks that they had available and snacks. On a sidenote, one of the vendor stalls had cheese and it dominated the scent in the air. There are two main entrances, so check both sides before lining up. When we were in line, it was sneaking all across so if you don't wanna wait go closer to when it opens. Have fun if you go to enjoy the holiday spirit!

Overcrowded even with prepayment of a timed entry ticket. Standby line over 2 hours at peak. Wish the whole thing was ticketed so that the number of people can be controlled. Long lines for food and drinks. Its a one and done for me.

Had a lovely time here with friends! Well organized, clean with plenty of vendors. The ambience was pretty with all the Christmas lights and good cheer.

Outdoor shopping and food! Really great winter holiday market. Tons of food from waffles, to pasta, to cheese wheels, to more exotic flavors. Shopping was a combination of pop up from chain stores to specialty shops and private vendors. Music playing and a great atmosphere. So much to look at glass, kids toys, Boston stuff, jewelry, specialty goods, artwork, chocolates, and so much more. Very crowded and lines waiting yo get it. We went right at 11 and got right in. Also has a great area to eat and a couple nice sitting areas.

A lot of reviews talk about the uncomfortable chairs, hot sun, etc. I have no idea what they were talking about because we rented a cabana that was comfortable and very clean. Outside of that were tons of tables and comfortable chairs and loungers WITH UMBRELLAS. Don't like the lines at the snack bars? They have tons of waiters and waitresses taking orders and delivering your food to you! There were seven of us that came and from children to adults, all enjoyed it. The expectations that people have for this place are unreasonable! ALL of the information about what to expect - from socks and requirements to prices for food and admission - it's all there. The place is only opened for a few months and have a huge staff, so of course you have to pay for that! Our experience was amazing and we all look forward to going again next year, maybe for two nights. My ONLY SUGGESTION would be to keep the inflatable park open a bit longer, even into October. My grandkids loved it but it was soooo hot they couldn't really feel comfortable. All in all, some of the complaints on here are ridiculous and issues could have been eliminated If they had just done their homework! Thanks for a great celebration for my birthday! I have collected Edaville souvenirs and memorabilia for as long as I could remember and I don't wanna say that I'm a train enthusiast, but my career is ON a railroad. I was seriously delighted to hear that the KRF group was going to tackle keeping the Christmas season alive at Edaville! Before our visit, a lot of the local pages on Facebook had naysayers and doubters, and I took the reins trying to be positive: "If it wasn't for the KRF group, there would be no Edaville, since the previous owner gave up and sold off all of the rides." With all that said, we visited with an open heart and mind, and were sadly, completely underwhelmed. Yes, I did notice there were more lights around the park -more so than the last few years. I thought that the giant Christmas tree just beyond the entrance was quite lovely. And, I hate to say it, but that's the end of what delighted me. The shops from the last few years were missing (Hippie Pilgrim, the antiques, the hand painted ornaments,) and the only shops to visit (and there were so few) were those also featured during the renaissance faire. To be honest, some of those shops featured Christmas items, but mostly, it was confusing and completely underwhelming. To call anything on the advertising and Edaville ticket pages a "Merry Marketplace" was quite deceiving. The Jingle Bar, advertised as 21+, was fun and festive but it was crowded with children. And the thing that really disappointed me the most? PortaPotties! It was 33° and I know the Venue has bathroom facilities! To make people use outdoor, frigid cold toilets and cold water is downright cruel! To charge $28 for a visit that doesn't include a train ride, to shop in 10-15 shops featuring old English provisions, and to pee in a PortaPotty, is a crime.

Reading through the more recent reviews it's clear a lot of people are disappointed in Edaville. My son is five and the majority of rides are perfect for him. This is truly a great spot for young elementary school aged kids and younger. There are a few rides where you have to be taller and keep the older kids a bit more engaged and plenty of rides for the younger bunch. Is this place pricey-- yes! But show me an amusement park that isn't. The tickets are high, but you can spend at least four+ hours at the park. We have not encountered crazy lines as others have. The Topham Hat car ride always has a longer wait at around 20ish minutes, but for almost all the others we never waited more than 5-10 minutes. The steam train ride is nice and it's a pretty long ride around the park. If your child loves trains, they will love it here. All the model trains/tracks inside are great to look at as well. It is a little weird how they must have lost their Thomas the Train licensing and the Thomas area very clearly used to be Sodor but now is a winter village. Things like the Dieselworks and the Troublesome Trucks are still pretty clear, even it it's not official. The food here is pretty standard. There is a local BBQ place that must rent out on of the stalls though, because their food was super tasty. Otherwise it's more hot dog, chicken nuggets, fried dough, popcorn, etc. I never went to Edaville before the new owners took over, so maybe that is why my perspective is different-- I have nothing to compare it to. Looking through old pictures though, I do hope they bring dinoland back! My family will be heading back in December for their Festival of Lights!
