Well that's not true one time I let someone touch it and that is why nobody ever touched it since then. But Mr Ray met me in the Hall yesterday as I was coming by to check out the place, for those of you like me you know the feel of the place is as important as just about anything else. I wanted the weight and length taken out of side, mouth and nose trimmed out, and everything else just cleaned up. I got was a careless "piece of shit" trim. He left the check/jowls uneven, did an amazingly obvious job screwing up neck beard (not trimmed, and nothing resembling an even line, and didn't clean up my overgrowth on cheeks at all. He was either malicious or incompetent. Either way, I can only urge you to go somewhere else.... Anywhere.... I don't understand how he has a five star rating. Must be his family... I watched a customer ahead of me leave unhappy. My gut was saying I should leave, but I thought I'd give it a go.... Always listen to your gut...

My hair grows in a certain way that makes it hard for most barbers to cut my hair in the way that I like. Metropole does not have that problem, (especially Kelly.) Because they do both hair styling as well as hair cuts, they understand the different ways hair can be cut. I get *exactly* the kind of crisp look I like, with the hair styled that accomodates the way my hair grows. I live in North Carolina, but always schedule an appointment when I come back for a visit!

They do men and women so don't be frightened away by the line that it's an all woman barbershop. Their prices also seem to be in line with what I hear you get for haircuts in Peoria but to be honest I haven't been to any other barbershop in over 20 years! As for the person mentioning Jo Marie no longer being there... sadly she passed away and that's the reason she's not there.

Shannon was my stylist and took off a huge chunk of my hair by my ear when I asked for my bangs to be trimmed. Now the two sides of my hair do not match up at all and are completely uneven. I was clear in what I wanted and after the matter the owner of the salon came and tried to fix it by layering the rest of my hair to match. A 3 inch chunk of hair missing from the side of your head, however, is not fixable. I will have to pin back my hair for at least a year until it reaches the length of the rest of my hair. Even then, it is quite noticeable. The service was terrible and took forever. Not worth it, even with the groupon. Don't waste your time and go great clips or literally any other salon.
