I walked around to see what all the store offered. Once I left an aisle he entered and it was a bit puzzling. I wasn't sure if I was being followed and targeted or he needed to take a look at a product. He asked if I was looking for a particular item. I mentioned a banana clip and showed a picture. He said that he didn't have them but would be open to purchasing them. He's the owner, it was nice to know that he was offering the option to carry the items. He offered another item. I declined and left. I decided to return because I was looking for a shampoo brush. I called before visiting to make sure it was available. Certain items are worth purchasing in person without waiting for shipping. I also wanted to support a Black owned business. I entered and was pleasantly greeted as another customer was wrapping up and leaving. I asked about the location of the shampoo brush and easily fell into conversation with the lady working. She was very nice and conversational. She encouraged me to follow the company on Instagram. I would recommend this business and revisit.

I recently visited your store to return a pair of colored contact lenses I had purchased a few…read moreweeks prior. The package was completely sealed and unopened. Upon approaching the register, I informed the lady of my intention to return the item. She responded that returns or exchanges were not accepted. When I asked for clarification--since the item was unopened--she pointed to a sign stating, "No returns or exchanges on clippers, trimmers, wigs, & hair." I noted that contact lenses were not listed, to which she replied that the store does not list every non-returnable item on the sign. I then requested to speak with a manager, but was told no manager was on duty. She offered to provide a phone number, but first asked me to step aside so she could assist another customer, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Afterward, she provided me with the manager's contact information. I called the number twice immediately after leaving the store, left a voicemail, and included my contact information, but I have yet to receive a response. I would appreciate clarification on your return policy and a follow-up regarding this experience. Thanks.

When I explained the situation to the cashier she told me that I had purchased a large comb. I explained to her that this is what I had just purchased and taken out of the package and showed her where it was damaged. she then basically called me a liar and theif and said that I was returning the old product. I was appalled and taken aback because she was actually calling me a thief and a liar to my face. I had my receipt and I paid cash. She would not refund me my money, but gave me a store credit. I would never return back to this store.

I found out that they are owned by the same company that owns Dollar tree. Most of the items are inexpensive and priced exactly at the dollar amount. You can find an assortment of items in their similar to the dollar store or five below.
