We find products here that are usually hard to find somewhere else. The staff have been very friendly and helpful and when you have a question, they won't leave you till you find what you needed even if you ask them store manager. I love their butchery department and bakery the best. They always have fresh and high quality products that you can smell it from the opposite side of the store. Overall I have been always enjoying my shopping experience there and I highly recommend them! :)

Store was medium size and there were plenty of staff around for any questions. Store was laid out logically and easy to navigate. I had just recently showed a friend how to check which pharmacies in Alberta have free Naloxone kits and decided to see if Beaumont was selected. Sure enough, they were on the drop down list on the AHS website so I decided to visit their pharmacy. There was one gentleman working behind the counter and he appeared quite busy. I waited about 5 minutes and he came over to greet me. He looked a little confused as to what Naloxone kits were and after I explained to him that I found their pharmacy listed on the AHS website, he let me know that he was just filling in for a lady who would be back in less than 2 hours and that he didn't know where they were kept. Not the end of the world but also not good - oh well, hopefully the regular lady knows where they are. My checkout experience was expedient and I actually quite liked their yellow grocery bags - nice and sturdy! This location also had a gas bar outside.

The prices here are pretty cheap, and the store is a little worse for wear looking. They do have a good selection of Dutch food here. Word of warning be really careful when buying products. A lot of the goods on the shelf are well past their due date. Sometimes by a month, other times by about a year. Unless there's something you know you can only find at Valmart I'd probably head to one of the other grocery stores in town.

I wasn't sure what to expect cuz google reviews referred to it as a desi store, and their store opening neighbourhood mail out noted it was a south Asian grocer. I was pleasantly surprised that there's a ton of variety here catering to all sorts of Asian groceries as well as western groceries. The building is brightly lit and the produce is plentiful, fresh, lots of different kinds (including Asian veggies) and affordable (I saw no bruising or wilting on the fruits and veggies either). I'd say a large majority of the store caters to East Indians which suits the demographic here, but there was also lots of foods that specifically target Filipino, Korean, Chinese, etc. that would usually be found by going to multiple specialty shops...I'm glad it's like a one stop shop! There were a lot of discounted goods too and some even have stickers with additional savings at checkout; $5 fully decorated fudge cake?... Um yes please!! Honestly, I walked in for fruit and came out an hour later like a bandit! There's even some interesting flavours like fruit HP sauce, or masala smoked chicken deli meat. I am also impressed they sell a good variety of meat skewers and halal meat. They also sell reusable grocery bags if you forget your own, or you can ask for a box which is free.
