In under a year I've seen many families leave this league due to lack of professionalism from the owner as well as the people he puts in charge of this league so I have been doing my research the last few months for alternatives and many other great leagues for kids in Miami and it's surrounding area so I'd highly suggest you avoid this one at all cost as rules and regulations change from game to game and your child's safety is not a priority once that paperwork and waiver is signed. Don't be disillusioned or fooled by the $12 championship rings or the Friday games. And I won't be surprised by the narrative the owner will try to portray in response to this review. Danny Berry's league is a league where your kid and his team can spend all season long working their butts off, waking up at 630 AM to take practice swings before school, and then lose the championship game because some academy decided to sit out several players in their 8U roster and bring in 9 and 10-year-olds to fill the spots in an 8U game. It is actually allowed, within the rules of Danny Berry's league, to play whatever players you want in a playoff/finals game (even if they aren't on the roster). And since Mr. Berry does not check birth certificates, Academies who want to cheat are essentially free to do so. If Danny Berry actually cared about the kids, he would show up to the league and at least watch some games here and there. We never saw him until the very last day, when he comes to hand out trophies or rings after the championship game. If Danny Berry actually cared about the kids, he would have a stable coaching staff for his academy. But he doesn't; his academy's staff is a revolving door and none of those kids are learning anything. You can see they're learning nothing by the fact that they play very badly and are consistently at the bottom of the league (I've attached screenshots to show this). If Danny Berry cared about the kids, he wouldn't have an academy that's happy to take a monthly check but provide no results. If you want to build a baseball academy and make a name for yourself by cheating and playing a roster over the age limit, then Danny Berry is probably a great man to have a business relationship with. If you want a good place for your kids to play or a good academy to join, absolutely stay away. Don't be fooled by the fake reviews left by his friends and family members.

However, once they get past coach pitch and crave coaching for actual mechanics to become better ball players, sadly the only option is private lessons outside Danny Berrys program. This leaves a lot of kids behind and you can see a massive difference between the haves and have nots. My son has played for 6 seasons and for both the recreation and competitive travel teams. Overall, I have to say it's very poorly managed. Worse, when sharing any constructive feedback with Danny Berry his response is "then don't come back next season". Wow! Just wow. How sad for our kids. We can do so much better here in Miami Beach with the families, money and resources this city program supports.

This apartment complex used to be great with the previous owners. These new owners have been here…read morefor about a year now and they suck. They're not helpful when it comes to maintenance at all. Some requests to fix things have never been met or acknowledged or they come week's later. There is never any parking at night and the only few spots are on the complete opposite side of the development and expect you to walk a mile back to your apartment. The front gate half the time is broken and wide open for anyone to come in. We've had noisy neighbors who keep us up all night and we've complained multiple times with nothing being done.

SFK gained my sons' interest in soccer and with its positive environment boosted his natural soccer skills. Thank you for such a great experience. It's an extremely well run academy with a fine professional cadre of coaches. This is one of the best programs my son has taken... I highly recommend the program to all. My son loved it! I can't think of anything they could do better. Super program. To keep my 7 year old happy, busy and looking forward to the next day is amazing! Coaches are great! it far exceeded what we expected it was going to be. Friends who have also used SFK have always said good things. We were really impressed with the coaches' skill level and their organization. If you are thinking of putting your child in a soccer academy SFK is the only one I recommend. No doubt!
