My youngest son danced at DU for 8 years until he was accepted into ont of the top 15 ballet academies in the nation, which was ALSO only possible because of his time at DU. I am so happy with everything my children learned while taining at Dance Unlimited. Yes, dance and technique are important, but they both also learned how to be a contributing part of a group/team and developed remarkabe confidence through dance. My 3 year old daughter had her trial class today and she left confident and beaming. Talk about…read morespirit boosting. This was everything her age group needs to grow into movement. Her instructor gave her some space to feel out the class- the environment, the people, and before I knew it, she was engaging in some of the movements. It was perfect. There were some really creative ways to get kids moving- I was particularly fond of hearing the mix of different music ensembles and the rope lights on the floor. I danced for 16 years myself and it makes me want to embrace that part of me I thought I lost long ago with an adult class as well.

Since y'all deleted my review on google I thought I should post on here and give more information…read moremy sister has given me! Absolutely disgusting experience. My sister joined this studio believing it was a safe, Christian environment, but instead she was manipulated by the owners' son (25) shortly after she turned 18. He continued pursuing teenage girls at the studio while leadership ignored the behavior and protected him instead of the students.When my sister finally spoke up, he was allowed to stay at the studio while the women and girls involved were reprimanded/fired. She tried showing information that he assumed she was 17 at the time, but the owner (name is posted on this page) took no time to shut her down and refused to see any proof. Even though my sister was of age, she had only been 18 for less than a month, and even as a legal adult he should not have been engaging with her as he was 7 years older than her and knew better. Watching her lose what she thought was her safe place has been heartbreaking.Parents need to be extremely careful about who they trust around their daughters. I suggest finding a studio that does not let such disgusting behavior happen around or to your kids and teens.This studio cares more about protecting their image and family than protecting the young women attending their classes. In the end, I think J&J has a lot they need to improve, like keeping their son away from young women and teens!

Concert Dance Conservatory has fulfilled all our desires and then some. All the kids immediately welcomed my daughter. CDC has a wonderful, kind, and supportive community. it is a professional studio that focuses on preparing their students to be professional dancers. They have provided excellent training and focus on have correct technique while still pushing my daughter to try new and hard dance moves. Mindy is wonderful and makes sure to focus on every student providing individual corrections for every child every class. Deb is equally great, and is an excellent ballet and pointe teacher.
