My STRONGEST my strongest advice is to read read read and be sure you have the documents that are needed for your type of transaction. I advised this due to personal experience.,lol. Generally speaking, allow several hours. Don't try to squeeze an appointment in before work or at lunchtime. Yes there may be times when it's not busy, but you don't wanna take that chance. And finally, when you get up to the desk inside the door be the first person to say good morning or good afternoon or anything pleasant to the person behind the desk. It's magical you will see and continue doing that with each and every person you have to encounter. Overall, my visit was about one hour and 45 minutes. After the initial check-in after I received my number, I had to see an agent to review my application that I filled out after checking in at the front. Upon Kia's review and payment, I was then sent back out to the waiting room to wait for my turn for photo and photo drivers license. I did not need the real ID. I will say when I got to the photo desk, I was not acknowledged by the agent, but as soon as I said hello, my name is Sue what is yours , again It was magical! Another wonderful experience with Leonora.

Why do you have to go there to renew a picture license seems like a process that could be easily done online. I understand the driving test but a renewal come on get it together. It was completed in 1855 in the neo-classical architectural style. Plenty of grey marble here. A new justice center is presently under construction that will be three times larger than the current structure, completely state of the art and be fully functional for the next century. Now it houses the Court of Common Pleas, the primary trial level court in the Commonwealth, both civil and criminal divisions. The ceremonial courtroom on the first floor is a large room with paintings/photos of all the judges who have been assigned here over the years. The judges' bar is elevated at the front of the room, with a mural representing the history of the county, and George Washington holding center stage. Clearly significantly worn from usage, the time is right for an upgrade that can hold additional courtrooms for the 24 judges working there, as well as the needed increased room for the expanded services provided by county courts in the present time and in the future.

They are unresponsive to emails and rude and ignorant on the phone. I've also been stuck going here for jury duty too. I hate traveling into this area, it feels very unsafe. The staff doesn't have to be kind because they aren't incentivized to keep their jobs. I recently moved to a different county, thank God and their courthouse is friendly, responsive, and pleasant to deal with. So glad to be out of Montgomery County!
