Although it is posted it is open on Saturday's, when I called to schedule an appointment they said their Davenport office wasn't open.

I've had two microblading sessions done at Advanced Laser Clinic. Basically, it's a treatment where…read morethey tattoo fine lines into the eyebrow that look like real hairs. I was worried it would be painful but they numb you, and it just feels like someone running their nail across your skin. I'm extremely particular about my makeup and used to spend way too much time on filling in my eyebrows/getting it right, which is why I was interested in the procedure. Obviously, I was nervous because the microblading lasts around 2 years or so, but trust me when it's finished you'll wish they lasted longer. I was also worried that I couldn't go out that night because of it, but my eyebrows looked so good that I wanted to get dressed up and go out to show them off. They look completely real and subtle, and it's nice not having to put makeup on in order to look like I have eyebrows. Overall, 10/10. Sandra who does the procedure is amazing at it.

However, I felt completely confident in Sandra's abilities and skills and wasn't disappointed with how it turned out. I'm so glad I had I found Sandra for the procedure. I recommened a co-worker, too, who was also very impressed with Sandra. I won't go to anyone else!

Once they got to closing time they simply picked the phone up and hung it up on me after sitting there for nearly an hour. So incredibly unprofessional and just flat out rude. 800 number doesn't deal with the type of prescription we need filled for my child so I have to hold whenever they give us the runaround and make it impossible to fill his prescription that he has to have to function in school. I am going to research new pharmacies after tonight because I am tired of the incredibly inconsiderate treatment to their patients. I am a nurse and I wouldn't dare hang up on a patient nor speak to them in the manner these folks do. Patients holding for so long when they can't speak to the 800 number is also just inexcusable. Covid is over, your staffing shortages have been reduced, find a new reason to be so awful!

So, you ask yourself, why the heck would she say that and give them five stars?? Well, while it is a huge issue for me that I cannot fill prescriptions there with the coverage of my insurance, I ended up there the other night because CVS has decided, in their infinite wisdom, that this portion of Iowa does not need the ability to fill a prescription at 10 p.m. at night. My son, who was in the ER until his release at 10 p.m., would likely disagree. He really needed pain meds, and I had very few options to fill the script. I ended up at Walgreens, resolving that his physical health and well-being was more important than the cost-savings of waiting until morning to fill the prescription. They quoted me the price, and I told them I would deal... it wasn't enormous, and it was better than making him suffer until morning. The pharmacist was very nice. I couldn't fault her for the lame fact that they do not take military insurance. I waited, and they filled the script. When I went to pay, she told me she had found a discount (I honestly have no idea if this was a coupon lying around or the fact that I happened to have a shoppers' card, but either way...). I saved about half on the script and my son slept better that night with the pain meds I was able to get for him. If Walgreens starts taking my insurance again, I will likely not bother with CVS anymore. I much prefer being able to fill and emergency prescription and having a nice pharmacist available to talk to, even in the wee hours of the night. 24 hour pharmacy... what a novel concept!!
