Ordered Wadenhoe corner sofa at end of January, at a cost of £4,500. Paid 50% upfront. Was told would take up to 16 weeks. Received email in the first week of April for final 50% as due for delivery within 4 weeks. I chased them at end of April for delivery date. Was told should be by end of May. Chased and chased throughout May, to be told was going to be June, due to delays. Sales staff aren't able to tell me what the delays are though. Then was told that would be July. When I asked to cancel my order as they have totally failed to deliver, was told that there was a 30% restocking fee- £1,436 for absolutely nothing. When I asked for the complaints procedure, I was told they don't have one, as they have never had a complaint. I asked for the directors contact details, which they wouldn't give, he rang off a withheld number, and didn't call me back when requested. they say that they are a small company, but actually have 20 showrooms. I have no faith at all in their 15 year frame guarantee or the stain cover- they can't even get the sofa made! If you are looking for good quality service STAY WELL CLEAR OF SOFAS AND STUFF. read more

We visited the barn in Fittleworth, West Sussex. Fabulous selection of sofas, helpful but unobtrusive sales people. They gave great advice. I ended up ordering an armchair I didn't even know I wanted as it was so comfortable. We were really impressed with the value too. We waited just over six weeks for delivery, as advised. The delivery people were polite and efficient, even when they had to remove the doorframe to get our new armchair in. We absolutely adore our new furniture. Thanks Sofas and Stuff! read more

LOVE our new sofa. Really knowledgeable staff and great overall experience, also the delivery guys couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone comments on our sofa as soon as they walk into our living room, thanks Sofas and stuff! read more

We visited the barn in Tunbridge Wells several times to look at sofas. On both visits the staff were warm, friendly and non pushy. We were supplied with a welcome hot drink, and given lots of advice and help with fabrics and styles. We are thrilled with our sofa, particularly as the sales assistant went out of her way to find a fabric and colour to match a sofa that we already have. Two delivery men brought our sofa, which was very well wrapped. They were polite, and took the trouble to remove their shoes, without being asked. Unfortunately, they forgot to leave my Stainguard pack! However, a quick phone call rectified this, and I am assured that one is on its way. Although the sofa was quite expensive, I am assured that it is well built and will last a long time. Parking was easy and the barn was well laid out. There were plenty of styles on display and an array of fabric samples to take home. read more

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. The service in the shop was excellent but we have a fault with our sofa and they tried to charge £98 to inspect it. They would have nothing to do with our complaint and when an arbitration company told them to refund us, they refused and S&S have now been suspended as members of The Furniture Ombudsman. We are now taking this to court. The complaint started in December and is still continuing! They have NO after sales customer service. read more

I found Sofas and Stuff on line after looking for ages for a more comfortable sofa than our 10 year old one.We saw that they had a new showroommnear Stroud which was close enough for us to go and try out the goods. It was quite nice to be able to sit on all of the different styles and chose the type we wanted from a comfort level. We were very nicely greeted by Bret, offered coffe and, and got answers to all of the questions we had. we were lucky on the day as tehy had the sofa and chair we were looking at online and had it at the discounted rate advertised from the website! Bonus. After a bit of trouble with the banking system and some calls back and forth to another store we now owned a new 3 seater sofa and matching arm chair. It was delivered a week later by some very helpful and friendly delivery men who arrived exactly on time and who helped us get our old sofa out of the front window ( only way to move big pieces of furniture in a terraced house it seems ). We were very pleased with the whole experience except for the miss advertised size of the sofa on sale ( we thought we were getting a large, 220 cm, sofa as advertised and instead got the next size down as the wrong information was put in the advertisment Bret called and explained all of this ahead of time. We're slightly disappointed but were at the " just get it done stage " so took the one they had ). Unfortunately after sining that all was fine with chair and sofa and delivery men had left, our son dropped something on the floor under the sofa nd noticed that the back leg was bending the wrong way. On further inspection having unstapled the bottom covering we found that the piece of wood that holds the leg in place had split down the middle and my husband had to glue and screw it with three big screws back together to hold it all in place. I didn't contact the company as it states on the sign off sheet that nothing can be done after you sign off, and I didn't feel that our repair wasn't going to make it good. But I'm lucky that I have a handy husband! It is a very very comfy sofa though, so alls well that ends well, I hope!! read more

We loved shopping at Sofas and Stuff (Tunbridge Wells). The staff (especially Nikki) were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We didn't feel at all rushed and were left to shop at leisure, offered coffee and made to feel very welcome. It was refreshing not to experience the usual wheeler-dealer techniques used by many furniture stores. I can't imagine we will shop anywhere else for furniture going forward and I have already highly recommended Sofas and Stuff to friends and family. The choice of materials was vast and it was great to have such a good stock of sofas available in store to try out for comfort. our main concern was access and this is an area where we struggled. The staff in store made efforts to calculate whether our chosen sofas would fit but did seem rather uncertain in their calculations. We eventually paid for Nathanial (who was great) to visit our home and within 5 minutes he had given us the assurances we needed, including confirmation that our first choice of sofa would fit in store we had been told that it would not. One area for concern was accuracy when placing the order. At this stage I found myself correcting/clarifying what had been ordered, as there were a number of mistakes, including the wrong sofas being ordered at one stage. I was told that the sofas would take 7 weeks but they arrived in 4. I accept that Sofas and Stuff erred on the side of caution but early delivery can also be tricky. We were not quite ready for them, which could have caused problems, particularly as the delivery company said they would only keep the sofas for us for up to 2 weeks. The delivery company was unfortunately less than helpful. They made no efforts to fit around our delivery requirements - irritating when one is paying for delivery. However, the guys who delivered the sofas were excellent, calling in advance to give an accurate ETA and keeping us posted. The sofas are beautiful and everything we hoped for and they fit perfectly, so a very happy ending :) All in all a very positive experience but not quite 5* for the reasons mentioned. read more

We were originally planning to order our new sofa through another bespoke company that we'd ordered from about 8 years ago. But boy, had their prices gone up! And they really had a could care less attitude about us wanting to place another order with them - even though 8 years ago when we were decorating our new house we bought 3 sofas and two large armchairs from them! I saw a promotion for Sofas & Stuff in the Times and took a look at their website. I didn't find exactly the style and shape we wanted, but thought it was worth going to the showroom. Initially, I felt the showroom (Parsons Green) was more warehouse-looking than I expected. But the sales staff were inviting, and ended up spending lots of time with us. The sales woman found a picture of the type of sofa we were after, which wasn't on their website. There was also a sample of it in the showroom, so that certainly made the difference-to actually sit in it! We were also pleased to be told that we could order it in a larger size. We found the quality of fibre seat cushions and feather-filled back cushions to be of the same quality as the other company, for almost half the cost. The sales woman then spent hours with us going through fabric sample books and was very patient, as we had quite a picky idea of what exactly we were after. Samples were ordered, as she insisted we really need to see the fabric at home in daylight. We are very happy with our new sofa. We received an email about when to expect delivery, and the only negative I can report is I had to phone the delivery company as I had not heard from them by the date specified on the email. They then told me they'd be delivering 3 days later, and that I could not choose any other date or it would be weeks before we'd see the sofa. This was most annoying as I then had to cancel everything I had set for that day. I was given a 2-hour window the day before, and a phone call 20 minutes before the men arrived. The delivery men also moved my old sofa into our garage. read more

Following a long read through all reviews available to us on Sofa & Stuff and a lot of research we decided to visit the Fittleworth showroom (we didn't want to make a mistake with such an important purchase). We were really pleased with the style of showroom and easy nature of the sales team. We dealt with Suzanne who was lovely and incredibly helpful; guiding us through the process and anticipating our needs. For example calling ahead to check fabric stock ahead of ordering and going through specific instructions as to the upholstery finish we requested. We didn't think that we would be able to get our new sofa's in time for Christmas and the week before this was looking highly unlikely due to issues with the delivery company, that said Suzanne and the team at Sofa and Stuff helped get us on the list for delivery and we're delighted to say that we took delivery of our two beautiful new sofa's the day before Christmas eve. Overall we're very pleased with the sofas and with our fabric choice of wool and wool plaid my only slightly negative observation would be the finish to the underside of the sofa's looks cheap as its made of polypropylene black bottoming and doesn't reflect the image of the sofa especially if you choose, as we did, an expensive fabric. This is probably a cost issue and keeps the overall cost of production down however as I am currently learning upholstery I wouldn't use such a product myself and am slightly disappointed by this aspect of the sofa and finish. I would recommend Sofa & Stuff to friends as the experience has been painless and thoughtful although I would probably suggest they used a house fabric to align cost and finish. On that note when reading reviews there are great comments on service but not much on quality hence I think its important to note parity of price and product offering. read more

After having been very uninspired after visiting the large High Street sofa chains we visited the Sofas and Stuff barn showroom in Fittleworth in June. We had a good idea of which style of sofas we wanted and as soon as we walked through the door we had spotted the one, however on looking around the showroom there were several styles which really jumped out. We were greeted by Mandy who was fantastic, she seemed to have all the time in the world for us, no pressure and very knowledgable. She talked us through the two types of sofas in which we were interested and the options available to us and then helped us with the huge range of fabrics on offer. We went away to think about the options and returned the following weekend when we ordered a sofa and an armchair which were completely different to the style which we had first imagined. Again Mandy had so much time for us and have to say she is a fantastic asset to Sofas and Stuff (her colleague, although we did not deal with her, seemed equally friendly and knowledgable too). We were told that the delivery date was in five weeks and exactly five weeks later the sofa and armchair arrived here at the cottage. The delivery men gave a slot of between 0930 1130 and at 1030 they arrived, unwrapped the items, placed them where I asked, set both the sofa and armchair up beautifully and cleared the small amount of mess. The sofa and armchair have been here for a week and we are so pleased! They are exactly what we asked for, so well made, comfortable and look just perfect next to the open fire. I would have absolutely no hesitation about using Sofas & Stuff again, I would recommend them wholeheartedly to any of my friends or family who are looking for gorgeous, quality items from a very professionally run company. read more

The delivery of our beautiful new sofabed was a massive disappointment as it had so many design flaws, it should never have left the factory! From badly made and fitted covers to cushions too small for the size of the sofa and an inferior mattress totally unlike the showroom model, it was a CATASTROPHE in every aspect! Why then you may ask do we award Sofas and Stuff five stars for such a poor workmanship? The answer is simply that they acted immediately to rectify the issues we had with the sofabed and could not have done more to help. A member of the team from Tunbridge Wells came to our home the very next day, organised an industry surveyor to make a report on the sofabed which they agreed was very badly made and should never have been passed through quality control. We had lots of help in making a decision with regards to the way forward and were left with the original sofabed to use whilst the design team went back to the drawing board to iron out the design faults. We have just taken delivery of a newly designed, no flaws, perfectly made and fully functioning sofabed in a different upholstery fabric to the original ( we needed a fresh start as the first one was such a disappointment) and we could not be happier with it. The entire process may have taken 5 months from the original order to delivery of the replacement due to factory summer holiday closures etc with many phone calls and emails along the way, but we DID get there and would use Sofas and Stuff again as a result. Our new sofabed is beautifully made and despite the problems we had, sometimes it is not the things that go wrong you judge a company by, it is the way they rectify it that counts! read more

Read about Sofas and Stuff in a magazine and saw the sofa we liked the look of. We were checking out all sorts of sites but like the look and feel of the website and the fact that the products were all British made. After taking a very long drive out to the Tunbridge Wells branch, all our thoughts were confirmed. The lovely Lady who ran the barn was so friendly and more than helpful with time, energy and advice, without being at all pushy. Just interested and keen to help us find a solution. She gave us a good quote, didn't look down on us when we talked of a limited budget but rather helped us get what we want within our limited budget. The next few days saw a myriad of samples arrive through the post. We took a long time to order as we had just moved and life was hectic and when we did, even the fact that the factory closed for two weeks for summer was not a problem. It was worth the wait. The sofa was delivered without any fuss or sucking of teeth by some really helpful guys and our sofa is now firmly ensconced, part of the family, looks and feels wonderful. We are so very happy with it and with dealing with Sofas & Stuff. I can't rate this company high enough and feel more people should know about them, so do trust the good reviews and buy your sofa from them. I put my priceometer at average because they are not a budget, cheap company but not a snooty over priced company either. I think their prices are competitive and yes, if expensive for some, well you get what you pay for and the expense is really worth it. So average means, I find their prices sit well in the marketplace. read more

I cannot praise Sofas & Stuff highly enough. From my very first telephone contact and at every stage throughout my order, the customer service was second to none. I really didn't think companies like this existed anymore. When we visited the Parsons Green showroom, the help & advice were outstanding and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable & listened to us without being over bearing. All the staff went out of their way to help with fabric choices and advice & when I wished to use my own fabric, they were very helpful at ensuring I understood it met with current Fire Treatment Regulations etc. The sofa itself is excellent and we are very happy with it. The overall cost was very reasonable and certainly less than a lot of other stores, whilst the quality is superior to many others we looked at. It was delivered on time & even the delivery service for such a large item was excellent. It's not always easy to deliver in London these days but not only was I contacted in advance regarding my delivery date, but the delivery men phoned me when they were about 20 minutes away. They were very efficient and careful inside my home & all the packaging was taken away and I was given a chance to inspect the sofa before signing for it. A special mention must be made of Martyn, Dan & Nadia at the Parsons Green branch all of whom were very, very helpful. We would have no hesitation whatsoever of recommending Sofas & Stuff they have it all great sofas, great prices, great staff & great delivery service. We would buy another sofa there in a heartbeat. I have been looking for a new sofa for a year and haven't been able to find one that looks like a good quality product at a good price. I came across Sofas and Stuff via the internet and decided to visit the Hungerford show rooms. I was slightly frustrated in getting to the show rooms as it is in the middle of nowhere and the suggested landmark on the map (a local pub) had been closed and boarded up. However, the lady in the show rooms and the quality that was there more than made up for it. After a couple of hours of looking, chatting about materials, sizes and experimenting with what represented the best floppable sofa. I had a good idea as to what I wanted. I decided to go away and have a think about it but within 48 hours I had placed my order. I was given a delivery date of six weeks time. Sofas and Stuff kept me well informed of progress and delivery dates and then I got a friendly email from the courier company. They were also great from beginning to end they completely understood that I needed a 20 minute warning when they were en route which they did, I also got an email the day before giving me a two hour window (refreshingly different from these companies who cannot be bothered to give a time frame). The delivery men were early in fact but did call as I mentioned, I couldn't believe how quickly they put the sofa together and took all the packaging with them. I was impressed from beginning to end and would thoroughly recommend Sofas and Stuff to anyone who wants to buy a quality sofa but doesn't want to pay outrageous prices. read more

We had spent ages looking for a quality sofa that would fit in,not only with our lifestyle, but also maximise the space of the room.We were giving up hope until i spotted an advert for sofas and stuff.I immediately loved the styles and choice of fabrics and was pleasantly surprised at the prices compared to other sofas we had looked at previously.I phoned and requested some fabric samples, they arrived first post the next day!Having two young boys,i was keen to see how the fabric would cope with them! Sofas and Stuff offer a fabric guard for a small cost on your chosen product.I decided to pour neat blackcurrant over one of the samples and let it dry.Amazingly it left no sign, that was good enough for me! The sales team at the head office were so friendly, helping with queries etc.Julia was amazing, taking time to discuss styles and colours and even offered a bespoke service to ensure our sofa fitted perfectly for not much extra cost! My husband wanted to see the actual products before comitting to buy,so whilst in london on business he popped in the barn.He was given VIP treatment and was really impressed with the quality. The sofa was ordered, confirmations of measurements etc already received via email.Delivery was exactly on time!.Sofa came packaged brilliantly, wrapped in new blankets and plastic to protect it.The final reveal was beautiful! It is everything i hoped for and more importantly, fits in the room and our life! We had excellent service in every way from Sofas and Stuff and i wouldnt hesitate in recommending them. read more

Having moved into a 16th century property finding the right sofa and chair to go in the sitting room could have been a challenge. However a visit to the West Sussex showroom soon made us realise that the real problem was the choice of styles, colours and fabrics on offer. After much testing of sofas including the important one of being able to fall asleep on them, having decided upon the style we then had the task of narrowing down the fabric choice. The selection of fabrics available is daunting, but with the help of the knowledgable staff we finally made our decision. Last week the sofas and chair arrived, withinthe time slot as promised and delivered by a delivery company who's staff actually seemed to care for the furniture rather than want to 'drop and run'. The Overbury sofa in Andrew martin Cape White and Kennet chair in Moon Huntingtower/Grape are both the most comfortable seating we have ever had and fit it beautifully with the decor and low ceilings of our somerset long house. The Wadenhoe ordered for the Annexe has received the thumbs up from our 18 year son, who has already been found asleep on it. The level of customer service throughout the ordering, purchase and after care, a fabric care kit was received the day after I advised the delivery company were out of them so could not deliver it, has been second to none. I would certainly recommend Sofas & Stuff to all my friends, and once our building works are done will be back for a bed and another chair. read more

Went to the North Yorkshire barn to see Sofas & Stuff's products nice fabrics, comfy sofas, polite staff so far so good. Got a quote for our chosen sofa in a bespoke size good again. Double checked the price again, good. Went to place an order only to find out that we were mis-quoted (on both occasions) and the price suddenly shot up to a ridiculous one. Not so good any more After some consideration, decided to limit our order to an armchair only (and went ahead with a sofa purchase from another similar company SUPERB by the way on all fronts). So, finally got our delivery date with a promise that a 2 hr delivery slot would be confirmed beforehand. Never happened The delivery guys turned up on the day (luckily first thing) with our chair. Good, you may think well read on! The chair looked niced until we sat down on it one of the legs was wobbly and came off completely when we tried to tighten it!! Oh, did I mention that the delivery guys smelt of cigarettes so much that we had to use a room freshener to get rid of the stench? Notified Sofas & Stuff about the broken leg (or rather the component which holds the bolt) 24 hrs later had to chase them for a response at which point heard that due to a busy period they wouldn't be able to get anyone until after the New Year. So, in summary, we've got a lovely chair to look at for now!! I really don't think we'll ever purchase anything else from Sofas & Staff :-( read more

We saw an advertisement for Sofas & Stuff in The Lady magazine and thought we'd like to see their products as we were at the time actively looking for replacement lounge seating. Our nearest Sofas & Stuff showroom was in Laverton (Hungerford) which was quite a distance to travel but in the end well worth the effort. On our first visit to the showroom we were delighted with the choice and there and then chose a shop floor 3 seater Kentwell sofa. We also ordered a two seater Kentwell which would be made and delivered in due course. On a further visit we ordered a sofa bed. In all we made three visits to the showroom because having been generously given swatches we needed to make sure the colours were right for our setting. On our visits we had, on separate occasions, met all three of the staff, Mary, Belinda and Philippa, all of whom were totally professional, very patient and brimming with product knowledge. The delivery of the shop floor sofa was undertaken by Barry, a company local to Hungerford and he was absolutely first class, arriving on time and setting up the sofa legs and placing it in the lounge. The two seater Kentwell sofa was delivered by two guys from London, again first class service with nothing too much trouble. The sofa bed was delivered from Exeter and once again very efficient and nothing too much trouble. We are very pleased with all three products and would highly recommend Sofas & Stuff. read more

We ordered a 2 seater and a 3 seater sofa which were delivered on 28th August. One of the legs on the 3 seater sofa could not be attached because a supporting piece of wood had split, so the delivery men left the sofa, still bubble-wrapped, lying on its back in the middle of our lounge and said Sofas and Stuff would send an upholsterer round ASAP to repair the leg (a 10 minute job they told us) and someone would ring us to confirm the time. I had to ring Sofas and Stuff support team several times and send them a picture of the problem before they responded with an email on the 30th of August, saying the matter had been referred to Homeserve upholsterers with high priority as the upturned sofa was blocking most of our lounge and our family had nowhere to sit. Homeserve are unable to send anyone out to us until the 5th of September 9 days after the faulty sofa was delivered. The sofa itself looks good and we were very pleased with the initial service we received from Sofas and Stuff in respect of the actual sale. In fact one of our main reasons for choosing this company was because of the very good service reviews they have received. However the After Sales service has been extremely disappointing and to have to chase for a response and then have to wait 9 days for a repair to a brand new sofa which is not even out of its bubble wrap is not good enough. read more

Hi, The sofas arrived on time as promised, and are well made, and I'd say that soft fabric in the house colours that I chose (flint and coast) are good, and the overall look is very classy (and like the photos). My one big criticism of the Haresfield sofa is that the feather filled cushions are very hard to sit on without a sprung base. Men find the design of the chesterfield style uncomfy on the back too as it doesn't support the neck. Shorter people are fine with the back but not the cushions. I also got a Snuggler chair which is large enough for two people (a copuple) to squeeze into and comfier with it's sprung base and foam AND feather filled cushions, but still not as squashy as It's a shame as I spent £2000 ish and while it looks beautiful, sofas from the co-op (while ugly) are much comfier. My wing chair from sofa.com is much comfier too. So if you can try to sit on your chosen sofa, you musty do so before you buy. To be fair the customer serivce I have had since then is very good- they have promised to send new cushion inners with foam too I have had to chase this once (I still havent had them though) but said they would provide this for free and I didn't need to do anything. I will see if they make the sofa comfy enough as they haven't arrived as yet though. They did offer to refund too but I hadnt seen anything else I had liked. read more

The staff in the showroom were very helpful indeed and provided plenty of advice and support to help us make a decision about what to buy and the best fabrics. The sofas duly arrived but within a few weeks, the sofabed started to lose it's support and creaked when sat on (despite not having used the bed at all). We raised this with the showroom who sent out an independent FIRA assessor. Unfortunately the assessor could find no specific fault and said it was due to the design and quality of materials, rather than a fault. Needless to say, the customer service from Sofas and Stuff changed considerably from the pre sales experience! We were batted between head office and the showroom and all the while we were unsure whether we should be using our sofa or not. After losing our tempers on the phone, we were finally offered a replacement sofa (without the sofa bed), but told we would have to wait longer due to other orders they had received, plus we would have to lose the money we had paid extra to have the sofa bed. There was no proper follow up from customer services, just a contact from the delivery company to arrange delivery of the new sofa. Very disappointing. You know the real value of a company when things go wrong, and Sofas and Stuff did not step up to the mark. They are quick to show the 5 star ratings on their website but don't be fooled. read more

I fell in love with the Pentlow bed the moment I saw it in the showroom. The bed itself is very well made and beautifully designed. I'd previously spent quite a lot of time looking for a bed on the high st and for the cost and the quality, it is well worth the investment. The staff in the showroom were really helpful and left me to browse at my leisure no hard sell just very helpful. I loved the fact that I could have the bed in such a variety of colours and fabrics. I was a bit overwhelmed with the choice so went with the standard colour. Delivery was really quick seamless. I had a pleasant surprise when the delivery guys informed me that they also made the bed up for me and took away the packaging. I was delighted! I was given plenty of time to check the bed over to make sure I was happy. And, if I wasn't, they would have been happy to take it away. The delivery guys explained this all upfront and were really accommodating when I requested that they ring me in advance so that I could leave work and meet them rather than wait at home all day. If I had one suggestion it would be that the delivery drivers wear a uniform and covers for their shoes. They didn't make a mess but would be the 'cherry on the cake'. I would definitely buy from Sofas and Stuff again and would recommend to my family and friends. The high street is so over-rated! read more

We had recently moved and decided to treat ourselves to a new set of sofas and chairs. I wanted to find a company that sold British made sofas and that was reasonably local to our new home. We went to the Tunbridge Wells branch which has a really good selection of sofas and chairs on show and a veritable treasure trove of materials. We met Nikki, who was so helpful and skilled. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and Nikki helped me develop those into a beautiful selection of sofas and chairs. Nikki has a great deal of experience in textiles, patterns and colours and, with her expert eye, gave me the confidence to chose a variety of patterns which go together so well. If you need inspiration there is a really useful ideas book with pictures, colour combinations and materials to browse. Nikki and her colleagues were very helpful, whether in person or over the telephone, and provided good old fashioned service, which is so rare these days. The delivery men were polite, prompt and tidied up after themselves. They managed to get a very large sofa up two flights of very narrow staircases without damaging the sofa or the wallpaper! Since I've had the new furniture in place I have had loads of compliments on the comfort, style and material used. We are delighted with our sofas and chairs and would definitely recommend Sofas and Stuff. read more

We happened on Sofas and Stuff by pure chance! We had been looking for maybea couple of years and found nothing that was just what we wanted. We didn't want to compromise! Then when walking near Hungerford we happended to see the sign. Thank heavens we did! We had muddy walking boots on, but the staff said that would be no problem. I expect they thought we were just time wasters wanting to sit a while in the middle of a long walk, but we weren't! It was sumptuous! Firm but just so comfortable! It was almost too good to be true, so we re-visited on our way home a couple of days later. And we were very impressed yet again. The staff were very helpful and knowledgable, and sent up so many samples of different materials. We finally ordered and waited. Then we had a slight hitch (Cos that's all it was!) The lorry broke down (It rarely happens) and they wanted to deliver another day. I told them I had taken the day off and didn;t want to do that again, so they hired a small lorry and delivered it that evening. A lovely couple with their children had obviously taken time out to satisfy the customer! What more can I say? EXCELLENT from start to finish. The sofas are solid, firm but extremely comfortable. I can thoroughly recommend them to ANYONE wanting a suite of sofa's read more

Well, I can only praise the whole experience! nothing like going to one of the large chain outfits. I have been looking at sofa's for years and to be greeted with coffee and allowed to browse and sit on every sofa without feeling awkward was superb. I wanted to buy something made in the UK and had no difficulty at all. I am a nightmare customer, hugely indecisive and talk too much. Mandy was patient, knowledgeable and very welcoming. I even went home to fetch a spare piece of carpet to check if the colour would go, and spent hours looking at samples for the cushions. Email and phone contact were both excellent., with the sofa ready in six weeks from the order being made. Sophie was extremely helpful with regard to delivery dates as I was away with work, the delivery company text 2 days before with a time slot and arrived perfectly on time. It took less then half an hour to remove one and install the new Stourheadamazing. Great guys. Perfect timing, as working from home for a couple of weeks..in fact, it's very difficult to get off it as it is so comfortable!! Will definately purchase from them again and would thoroughly recommend them. Pain-free, quality product and quality experience. Many thanks Jane Pulborough read more
