Our condominium hired SoFlo Pools all the way back in 2018. We are still with them, and I have to agree with the other reviewer that said, SoFlo Pools is "The ONLY pool and spa company you should consider hiring in South Florida." We must have gone through 3-4 different unreliable pool companies before being lucky enough to find SoFlo Pools. Here's what is our condominium building loves about SoFlo Pools! 1. They have a super cool report system that emails a picture and chemical report each time they service the pool so that you know it's safe for swimming. 2. Affordable. We were with them for two years, prior to receiving a modest fee increase. 3. Similar to another reviewer, we had a non-functioning hot tub / spa. SoFlo Pools was the only company to work with us to repair the system. It was complicated, and they figured it out, and installed a new control system. 4. Customer service responds quickly via phone or email. And on more than one occasion, one of the company owners has assisted us in problem solving. read more

It's hard to find places to service a jacuzzi brand spa, but they sent over Will, and he knew his stuff. He had to get parts and they charge you for each visit, but I'm sure that's typical. I was able to order the parts myself, which probably saved a little. I've had two other spa services by another company and was charged an even $500 each time, which seemed both high AND like a suspiciously canned amount. so I'm glad I found South Fla pools. read more

We've used this business for at least two years. Sadly after a couple months of good service is declined to okay service to now poor service. Our pool chemicals haven't been balanced in more than a month and the water quality is now to an overwhelming cloudy status with what we're pretty sure is algae in the water. We will likely have to drain and power wash the surface in order to restore our pool water. Soflo pools subcontracts their accounts and therefore we often get a different pool service technician each week. In the last few weeks the technician didn't not communicate with us any issues and therefore the pool continued to get worse. The company doesn't seem to care about the situation and we'll likely be dropping them today. read more

I just did a brand new Pool and I called SoFlo pools. The owner was excellent and sent me a Pool cleaner right away. The Pool cleaner names Will called me and told me he would be here at 2:30 and showed up on time . He came to my house and explained everything he does and what to expect from them. So far is been 2 weeks and they are doing an excellent job. You spend more money buying the chemicals every month doing it your self than just hiring this professional company. I need a simple light repair and filled out a Yelp request with SoFlo. I received a call back from Reef Tropical Pools, the new owner of SoFlo Pools, a day or so after filling out a request on Yelp, only to be told that another representative would call me back. Several days later I received a call back from a representative who told me they would be out on Wednesday or Thursday, but would call me ahead of time. That was over a week ago. I called SOFLO pools becouse I was looking for someone to properly maintain my pool. I spoke with Alex on the phone and he immediately sent someone out to take a look at it the same day. (Fast service) They sent me all the information on the chemical & current water conditions along with their recommendations in reference to my pool equipment.(Extremely informative) They installed a new pool cleaning system (Zodiac). I am now excited to be hosting all the family pool parties at my house and I am proud to say I have a clean, well maintained, nicely lit up pool with the softest water I've ever felt that takes care of itself while I bbq for my loved ones. The ONLY pool and spa company you should consider hiring in South Florida. We had a MAJOR problem. Not only was our 12+ year old hot tub not working, but because it was on our condo's roof deck, to replace it would involve renting a crane for $12,000 (yikes!). We tried several other companies and they were all unable to fix the problem (or unwilling to do what it took).  We were DESPERATE... Thankfully, we came across SOFLO POOLS and in particular, Will. Will promised us he would do whatever it took to get our tub running again and DELIVERED!  He went above and beyond - returning several times in order to diagnose, isolate, and fix the problem. Mike answered my yelp quote within minutes. We were able to make an appointment to get our above ground jacuzzi looked at the next day. We had an electrician also come out to check and see what was going on who was extremely courteous and helpful. We were sent a quote shortly after and will be working with them again soon. Update: To their credit, the owners called and spoke with me about my experience and have committed to reviewing procedures to address these. It shows a level of professionalism and accountability that is rare, and reflects a spirit of quality improvement based on credible and useful feedback. They also shared that their were some HR issues that unfortunately impacted my experience-and was bad timing, which can happen. I would be willing to try SoFlo Pools again based on this. read more

I've been using SoFlo for about a year now; they are the only company that has maintained my pool since I built it. At this rate, they will be the only ones doing so. We got one of their top guys, Fabian, who has been fantastic and super helpful with basic questions and advising on things I should do. Our pool has not seen a week without looking phenomenal. SoFlo has been timing their cleanings before weekends (which is absolutely brilliant). The last thing I'll mention is that they are a great group to fall back on when something is wrong. I am satisfied that this company's owner took matters in his own hands when he found out that I had an appointment for diagnostic of a Spa and nobody showed up the next he came to do it in person, he texted me back with photos of the damage and order the part needed to do the repair immediately and expedite the shipping. Not reputable. Takes contract under current conditions then hikes the charges afterward. I was up front and explained to Alex the old equipment and current state if the pool. If he had reservations he should have looked before accepting the job. When I canceled my contract I did not hear from them. After an absolutely horrible long term relationship with an incompetent pool company and being stood up by numerous others, I was resigned to the fact that all pool companies were like the Miami dating scene. Were my standards just too high? Was actually showing up to clean the pool weekly (as I was paying for) asking for too much? As a last hope, I reached out to For Eva Pools. Mike got back to me promptly via email (whattt!) and said he could come by the next day to give me a formal estimate. I chuckled to myself, sure, come by tomorrow. Would you believe he actually showed up?!! The day and time he said he would! I know, I was stunned. Bottom line, Mike is a really nice guy, knows about pools, keeps me posted via email/text/door tag with what is going on with my pool. Reasonably priced and gives me the option (on the rare occasion) my pool requires additional chemicals for him to add or I can purchase myself. My pool has never looked better! read more

This is the worst pool service I've ever received. I recommend calling anyone else. Mike is the rudest man I've ever met & when telling him about my pool he completely ignored my requests. I don't recommend creating a business if you don't care about your customers at all. Atleast the pool cleaner was nice, wish I got his name though. But overall this place sucks. read more
