The staff were always quite pleasant and hooked me up several times on their amps to test guitar after guitar, never pressuring me for a sale. After I had selected one, I price-compared it online and was unable to find the same guitar for a cheaper price. They assured me that, had I found it cheaper, they would match the price. Each time I have returned, they ask me how I'm making out with my new guitar. I have asked them about other instruments, that they don't typically carry and they took the time to see if they could bring it in for me. I brought them in on Tuesday and they were not waxed at all when I picked them up on Friday even though I was told they were tuned up I was lied to by the employee aside from the binding adjustment. I also dealt with a very rude employee on Thursday afternoon, I can't remember his name, however he was very honest just extremely rude. They have a wide selection of UNB apparel, short and long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, sweatpants and jackets of many different styles and colours. I bought a few law hoodies and sweatshirts from the store. they are unisex sizes so they run pretty large. Unfortunately they didn't have my exact size (xs) and they cannot order more law faculty clothing as they only take clothing orders in the fall semester of each year. I found the sweatshirts to be of good quality and are warm. They were a little expensive for my liking however. I have worn the law sweatshirt a few times now and it is really comfy. Subtowne often does the ballroom blitz a few times a year. This is where they bring out many items for sale (clothing, boots, Unb accessories etc), I find there to be good sales and deals during the blitz, which is located in the Ballroom (top floor) of the Student Union Building. I recommend you check it out the next time they have it!
