He takes a good 45 minutes to measure your feet and find your boots. They aren't cheap- he points out the difference between good and poor quality in a boot, using an old boot! His selection is vast, if he can't find a pair on the main floor his basement is full. Large inventory. Best boot fitting you'll ever have- you won't get that at any other store, they won't take the time. His knowledge of the leather, the patterns, the stitching, the different hides, colors and textures rivals NONE. He knows a lot of people in town, has seen a lot of the good and basin others, and it shows. Great dry wit.

It was easy to navigate and gave me all of the information I needed to see if they could help me. I dropped by and found a nice, well designed store. The two gentlemen working greeted me immediately (sorry, I didn't get their names). In under 5 minutes, they had replaced my battery and informed me what I needed to do to condition the new battery. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole experience was very impressive. Apple would have charged $79, plus shipping and other fees. Plus, they would have taken my phone for who knows how long. iDeal iRepair charged $50 for the part and service. I absolutely recommend this store. Thanks for the great service!

This Costco is only an hour after crossing the border. At $114.9, their gasoline was still cheaper than the stuff I get in California assuming conversion calculator I used is correct. Bathrooms are cleaner than Walmart or Target. Walking inside and exploring is a great thing to do. They have all kinds of stuff including medications you can't get in the USA. They have sports sweatshirts of Canada's baseball team. If I wasn't a Dodger fan, I probably would've bought one. It is interesting to see how Costco's differ after a few hours of driving. Then there's food at the food court. No smoothies at this location. But, you can get chicken strips with French Fries, or Poutine. If that doesn't suit you, you could get a smoked meat sandwich! I thought their smoked meat sandwich was fantastic. Costco is definitely worthy as a pit stop. Note: This part of the world doesn't Yelp much, a lot more reviews can be found on Google.

Other shoppers often compliment one another on their finds and share ideas about accessories. You can also keep to yourself if that's your preference. My boyfriend even felt comfortable there. There are regular specials (follow them on Facebook) and she put out treats for the holidays. I feel part of a community there. It's a special type of place you don't find often.

I have been getting my eyes checked regularly and they haven't changed in over a decade. So they are now withhold contacts /glasses if I don't get my routine eye check up. So now I have to walk around unable to see because I can't get more contacts and have no way of booking an apt any time soon for a check up due to financial hardships. I feel like withholding a product because you didn't get your regular eye check up is ridiculous and extremely unfair. Especially for someone who goes regularly and has not had any change. Very frustrating and seems to be a gimmick to get more money out of you. I informed the lady working reception of my concerns and she informed me that she didn't want to deal with the situation/didn't know how and basically avoided all of my concern's. Informed me she would get someone else to call me back (which did not happen) and I am now left to scramble and find another eye doctor and figure out how I am going to manage not being able to see until I can afford an apt at another eye doctors office. As a Calgarian I can't help but compare this store to Blame Betty as they carry many of the same things. The differences are that Drunken Sailor has a bigger space so it's easier to move around and, as they have more room, they carry a few more brands. What I really liked about Drunken Sailor is the wonderful, friendly service and that they carry bigger sizes. Most pinup girl type clothing comes in a range of sizes from XS-XXL but not all stores carry the larger sizes. Drunken Sailor does. They also carry the Bettie Page line which is made for busty gals with hips. And the icing on an already great cake? We forgot to plug the meter but another local business did it for us so we didn't get a ticket. Thanks so much!
