This is a great little spot in the CBD for a quick bite. My husband and I were staying at a nearby hotel and slipped over here because it was close to avoid the rain. He had the beef lasagne and earl grey tea; I had the chai latte and chicken schnitzel. It was one of our best bites during our week visiting Sydney! The lasagne had the perfect ratio between meat, cheese and sauce, and was rich in flavour. The schnitzel bread was warm and crispy. The chicken was tender, tasty and perfectly breaded. There was just a hint of sweetness in the sauce without being overpowering. Definitely get the almond croissant! It was heaven. The drinks were delicious (but pretty typical for hot beverages in Sydney, thus the four stars.) There's a great seating area right outside the cafe and server was kind enough to turn on the heat lamps since it was rainy. Perfect for people watching. I'm about to go back for the second time today for another bite! read more
