Sol mental health is fully remote for people in NYC and is full of inexperienced, irresponsible practitioners. They have NPs providing the care a psychiatrist should be providing. It would be one thing if the NPs knew anything about Psych meds, but they do not. One in particular, Monet Mindell, was all over the place, looking through a tiny book to see if meds interacted with one another. Very unsettling. The billing is also incorrect, so that is the icing on an already very lopsided cake. read more

I absolutely do not recommend SOL Mental Health. I booked long-term sessions with a therapist. During the first session, I took a test. In the second session, I was promised results, but they were not provided. Later, when I requested an animal support letter, I asked repeatedly but did not receive one, nor did I receive a denial. Additionally, I tried to discuss a very personal relationship issue, but the provider seemed to avoid the topic for some reason. We covered the same questions and topics repeatedly, which felt like the provider did not save any notes or memos about me. This felt weird and disrespectful. I spent a year investing my time, money, and effort into therapy sessions and medication management. My medication management provider to disappear one day. I was almost ready to gently decrease my medication dosage! I had ongoing sessions, and my provider, abruptly stopped scheduling follow-up appointments, leaving me unable to refill my medications. She simply disappeared and did not respond to my messages. They used a strange application called "Spruce," which made me wonder if there was an issue with the app. I deleted it because it was useless and then tried to contact SOL Mental Health by phone, but no one responded to my inquiries. Eventually, I managed the severe withdrawal effects on my own. Therefore, I strongly advise against using this service and provider; it is simply dangerous. read more
