After a year of not having a pigeon problem with my rooftop solar, I noticed them building a bunch of nests over the last two months. I hated getting on my roof and dealing with it, and asked my neighbor who put the bird wire around their panels, and the spikes on the crests of the roof. They gave me the flyer they had for SolarCleann. Need your panels and roof cleaned because Pigeons have decided to move into Che-Solar? If you're in the AV, don't even think about going anywhere else. You'll be disappointed and end up having to double pay. We called around, and got several quotes. These guys are not the lowest, but they certainly aren't the highest. The lowest quote actually asked us if we had a ladder that could get to the top of the house that he could use. Dude, if you don't have the basic gear required, I'm not touching your service with a politicians pole. So we engaged Solar Cleann to get the job done, and holy crap was it a doozy. We've had solar for 3 years now, and the Pigeons had moved in on day 1. So 3 years of Pigeon droppings, and feathers, and God knows what else. They brought their OWN LADDERS (big ups), and went topside. Using a pressure washer, they began the arduous task of clearing everything out. 8- 9 hours later, and they were done. The water flowing from the roof made a beautiful waterfall of bird droppings and detritus...I'll never stand under an awning while it's raining again. All the openings had been sealed up, and tacked down. Unfortunately, the cleaning ended up getting a lot of spray on one of our neighbors houses. Rather than let us deal with angry people, Todd jumped up on our fence, and hosed down their wall as well! So now they had 1 really nicely cleaned wall (and AC units), and 3 others that looks like they could probably use some love. As part of the cleanup, they also pressure washed our driveway with soap, which left a wonderful scent for the following week. The pigeons came back to a rather undignified eviction, and loitered for a few days. Slowly, they went and found other accommodations (read as, neighbor down the way that had panels, but hadn't had them sealed up) Do your research, and hire the best (Todd & team). read more

Todd did great work! He quickly provided a quote via Yelp on a Sunday evening, and was able to come out the very next day to clean my panels. Left a check under the mat on the way to work, and when I got home, all clean! I hadn't had my panels cleaned since they were installed a few years back and they were DIRTY. The before and after pictures Todd provided gave confidence in the decision to schedule the appointment, but a quick look at the energy graph really made it clear how much I was losing. I gained 22% production from cleaning! If it's been a while since you've installed your solar, they probably need cleaned. I plan on having mine cleaned at least annually going forward! read more

SolarCleann did an excellent job cleaning out the pigeon mess from under our panels and putting the pigeon guard, so we won't have to deal with this again. We just moved into this house and noticed a problem with pigeons hanging around. We didn't realized what a mess was under the panels though. We had a serious pigeon issue once we installed solar panels. We tried to get critter guards installed several times and the company that installed the guards did a terrible job. We had trapped pigeons and a ton of poop. Finally found Clean Solar company and they did a fantastic job. They power washed the roof to clean off the pigeon poop and fixed a few tiles. He took before and after photos and the pigeon problem was completely taken care of and we had zero pigeons roosting under the panels. After dealing with our solar company and them doing NOTHING to help us with our pigeon infestation, (sunrun-the worst!), I looked for a fair price to have critter guards installed.
