Simply put - Tony does horrible work. You'll take your car there multiple times, and it'll come back to you worse or as bad as before. Do yourself a favor and have your 11 year old niece install your tint - I'm sure she'll do a better job. read more

I'm only adding this place to say how horrible it is. Please do not go here. They do cheap tinting and I think that's the only way they stay in business. I made the mistake of taking my car here years ago because they were running a special and I didn't know any better. Wasn't really that pleased at first with the job they did but it wasn't horrible. After a few years the back windshield was full of bubbles. Since they guarantee their work I brought it back. I specifically asked them if there would be any problems ripping it off and redoing it and they said no. Now my rear defroster doesn't work except for 1 thin line in the middle. I would have rather kept the bubble filled stuff on. At least I could see out the back. read more

I got a 2002 Nissan truck tinted here in 2002. It's been 10 YEARS and the tint has barely shown any wear. The color has faded a little bit from it but it isn't bad after 10 years. There was never a bubble to begin with, and there are no bubbles now. Over the past 10 years I have had 2 other vehicles tinted at different shops and the work compared to Solartech was sub-par. In fact, one of my reviews on yelp is of another tint shop that charged me 3x what Solartech charged me and he left all sorts of bubbles. When I asked him about the bubbles he said "nothin' I can do about that". If Solartech is still providing the same level of service they were 10 years ago, this place is solid and highly recommended. My husband and I believe in supporting our neighborhood business establishments. He went to solar tech and had a auto start put in his jeep. Didn't work right from the start. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't work. He did bring it back and go there at least 4 times. This last time the man he spoke to didn't know a thing about them and said his guy would call. We waited another week for a call and of course it never came. Went over to Boomer McCloud and they diagnosed and fixed the problem. The software needed updating. No problems since. Bottom line I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! Took my car there for a simple tint job. The guy doing it was a clown. Seemed like he didn't want to do it. After just 5 days I put my window down and the tint tore from the bottom. I had to call a half dozen times before I got a call back. He tried to blame me. Not my fault. I followed the instructions and didn't roll the windows down for 72 hours. He tinted the windows again and within 5 days it was tearing at the bottom again. Turns out the guy I dealt with was the owner. I removed the tint myself. Lesson learned! ! Solartech is a joke and has no idea how to properly tint glass. Stay away or you will be sorry also. read more

On my first visit he was two hours late when he finally got there and he said he forgot about our appointment. Got my car back. When I got home and noticed my Front window tents were coming off. I called him for three days he didn't answer. I finally went back on Monday morning waited for him to come in he didn't get there till an hour and a half later had two other people waiting there they made an appointment and he didn't come on time. He apologize for my windows my wife picked up my car when I got home I noticed that he burn my door panels using a heat gun and now The rear left tint is coming off the window. Against me in the word my calls so I almost had to threaten him. When I showed him the damage he did to my door he said he didn't feel bad but didn't say anything about paying me for it he fix the rear window and of course it's not coming off again. I am not wasting my time taking the car back I will go to check world but I will never go to the sky again and I am filing a suit against him. Please NEVER bring your car here!!!!! This guy says he has been in the industry for 25 year's... but his work says otherwise. I had a set of taillight overlays put on my car here and they were BUTCHERED. The overlays were put on crooked to begin with then when he cut the excess film from around the taillight (which the manufacturer puts on for extra workability so its easier to work with) his exact o knife slashed the top of the taillight leaving a nice gash along the top (very noticeable). Not to mention the MULTIPLE cracks, creases and imperfections across both taillight's. This is where my story gets even better :) !! So I brought my vehicle back to Tony (owner) after one week of having them on my car. I came in very calm and asked him if he had a moment. We went outside to look at the car and I was showing and explaining to him what I have previously said... and he FLIPPED out. He started yelling and telling me that he "doesn't deserve to be talked to like this" and that "the work is good". Anyone with two eyes can see that this work literally looked like it was done by a two year old. His unprofessional rant and him basically walking out on me as I was talking to him I didn't really have have a good chance to ask him about that "lifetime guarantee" that he advertises. I also wanted to ask him if this was his vehicle if he would want it to look like that. My guess is his answer would be no. So please safe yourself the huge headache and dealing with Tony as it will be a big waste of your time and money. Wish I would have taken some of the advice I had gotten about this place before I had to learn the hard way. Thanks Tony. read more
