A smashing musical and a MUST for anyone Dutch, or non-Dutch!
Based on a true story which was placed in the area the making of the musical is really very unique. Before you enter the theater please make sure that you read the little exhibition well. This will help you understand the entire story also in Dutch.
The musical itself is (for me) much better than all of these top fairy tale musicals which can be presented in New York, London, Paris, Berlin or Den Haag for that matter.
The theater itself was build especially for the musical and is technologically on the absolute forefront of stages. The stage moves around the audience, there is water, a real boat-ride AND even a real airplane on stage and the stages actually opens to the real airfield behind the theater.
The story is marvellous, the actors smashing, the music wonderful and the theater building. More than 3 hours of very, very good entertainment. read more
