Quality work to fix my wifes boots at a fair price. The work was completed by the next day.

Peter and Sons luggage repair to the rescue!…read more I have a larger size Samsonite Strarium case (from Japan) that unfortunately lost one of its wheels. I tried looking everywhere for it, to no avail. Even more difficult was trying to source a replacement wheel (since it's an Asian market product line), but thankfully the suitcase was still warrantied by the brand. Peter and Sons were extremely fast with the wheel replacement; in fact I counted 9 days from the time I dropped it off at the local Samsonite retail store to when the suitcase was mailed back to me at my front door. Props to them for a fast and no-cost repair!

I had a damaged clip on the sternum strap on my Gregory Jade backpack. Something that seems so…read moresimple was a nightmare. I was sent a replacement strap from Gregory, but I wasn't able to attach it to my pack and neither was anyone at the two REI stores that I visited hoping to get it fixed. I was a little desperate and tried on several backpacks while in REI, but none fit me as well as my trusty Jade 38. Also, most of the backpack frames now are too large to conform to the carry on restrictions. Next, I brought it to a local shoemaker, but he didn't have the proper equipment to sew the backpack. Luckily, someone at the Gregory warranties department, suggested sending my pack to Peter and Sons. Well, not only did the shipping and repairs take less than a week, my pack is usable again! These guys are awesome! I wouldn't hesitate to trust these guys with any kind of repairs on luggage, they do great work!

I took my favorite boots to get repaired and the owner took a look and immediately put me at ease…read more He replaced my heel caps and gave me a fair price. But the best part? The finished product! My boots look fantastic! The heels are like new, the repair is flawless, and it feels every bit as sturdy as the original. The owner clearly takes pride in his work, not only did he save my favorite boots, he saved me a ton of money compared to buying a new pair. If you're looking for a shoe repair wizard, look no further than Flowertown Shoe Repair shop! He will have your shoes looking and feeling their best in no time. Highly recommend!

DO NOT BRING YOUR SHOES HERE!!! Brought some new shoes to have shined for my Son and was shocked…read morewhen the guy told me it would be $50 for a simple shoeshine. Should have turned around and left, but decided to leave one pair anyways. Picked them up today and he told me he stayed up late working on them. I looked at them and couldn't see anything had been done to them, nor could I smell any polish on them. I didn't have time to complain since my Son needs them for tomorrow, so I didn't say anything and figured I would trust that he actually shined them. When I got home and compared the other new pair to the ones he supposedly shined, there was no discernable difference. I called and he said he used Kiwi polish and spent about 2 hours on these. I am retired Military and have shined many shoes in my career, and you can always smell the polish right after a shine. I try helping out the small local shops whenever I can, but this time I got burned. Won't happen again, and hopefully somebody reads this and doesn't make the same mistake I did.
