The meat was tender and generous, if anything I wish there were more curry broth and a bit more spice. But overall would definitely order again. Both noodle dishes were great and well prepared. I ordered a "Chinese" beef and broccoli pad sew noodle dish. The dish was done exactly the way I like it. It wasn't too wet and it had the perfect amount of sauce and seasoning. The beef and Chinese broccoli was cooked just right and the amount was a perfect ratio to the noodles. Too bad I wasn't staying in town longer or I would come back to try the other dishes. Lastly was the Set Tum Thai which is That BBQ pork shoulder served with sticky rice and a papaya salad. It was SUPER flavorful pork and an amazing spicy sauce. Rice was nice and sticky to calm the flavors down. Well-balanced. Value: It's more upscale and "modern" Thai cusine so you have to pay for it. Lol. All prices are in $CAD. My first drink was $14.00. I ordered the erotica and oh my god. It was delicious! A breaded shrimp roll topped with salmon tartare, tobiko (flying fish roe), oshinko (japanese pickled radish) and served with spicy mayo but tastes great with waifu (sesame mayo) sauce, as well. I loved that they used the oshinko to give the roll a slight tarty flavor; this helps cut the fatty/greasy flavor of the mayo, salmon and oil from the fried seaweed and tempura. Usually, most restaurants would use mangos to add a tarty flavor to the rolls, however, I am allergic to fruits so this was a game changing ingredient for me. The erotica is my new favorite roll and I would come just for it! My only complaint for this roll is that there was too much tempura in the tartare which made the roll taste a little too fatty and greasy overall. In Vietnamese, we would call it "béo quá". They were having a promotion on uber eats for a free dragon eye with a 40$ purchase, so of course I had to get it! I was pleasantly surprised because dragon eyes are usually over stuffed with rice and Sushi-sama used the perfect amount of rice. It was crunchy and delicious even though it was delivered! Wow, was I impressed. I also ordered the 15 piece sashimi combo and I am so happy that they did not serve me just any 'cheap' sashimis! I received 4 salmon, 3 tuna, 3 white tuna, 2 talipia, 2 shrimp and 1 eel sashimi. These sashimis were fresh and did not taste precut to be refrigerated and served the next day (you'd be surprised how many restaurants do that). My only problem was that I had a bone in my first bite of salmon sashimi which made me hesitant to eat the rest but I didn't find any other bones so it wasn't a big deal, mistakes happen! Finally, I ordered the Tartare-Sama, however, I couldn't eat it because there was fruits in it. There was a mistake in the description, stating only "8 pcs. Tuna, Salmon." and nothing else. I thought it would just be a tartare made of just tuna and salmon but it was a roll with strawberries and mangos in a rice paper roll. Do not order unless it is what you want! I would definitely recommend coming here!
