wanted an out-of-the-ordinary sink for my (hopefully) soon to be completed kitchen remodel and,…read moreafter browsing for ideas at Pacific Sales, went looking online​ where i stumbled across the ARTISAN CRAFTED HOME website. was immediately drawn to the 36" Round Front Copper Farmhouse Sink (available in four finishes: dark smoke, Rio​ Grande, cafe natural, and matte copper). went with Rio​ Grande since that was a nice fit with the faucet and cabinet hardware i was already leaning toward. be aware that being copper, the sink does require some maintenance​ and needs to be sealed (a quick rubdown with a soft cloth and an inexpensive​ waxing compound available from ARTISAN​ CRAFTED HOME) every couple of months. according to the website, their farmhouse sinks are hand-hammered in 14 gauge, lead-free copper by 3rd generation coppersmiths, are TIG copper welded, and built to last a lifetime. not sure about all that, but i can tell you this: my new sink is gorgeous.

Paid $585 for copper pendant lights from this company…read more When one arrived damaged, they insisted it could be repaired (it couldn't). They finally agreed to let me return it after making up some bogus claim about passing the UPS claim deadline (which I know was BS because I own a retail shipping business). They made me pay the shipping to return the damaged pendant! Then they sent me a replacement with the wrong finish so it didn't match the existing two from my original order. On top of that, it was also missing parts, including the mounting cap for the ceiling. When I told them this, they said I would have to order three brand new ones that were made at the same time for them to match. I told them fine, but then they told me I'd have to pay for those out of pocket and they wouldn't refund me for the original order until they had gotten those items returned. And guess what - they made me pay for that return shipping, too. So in the end, I finally have matching, undamaged pendants, but I had to pay the cost of the pendants twice AND pay for almost $100 extra for shipping. Ridiculous! My wife and I intended to buy other home goods from them after our remodel was finished, but now we will never buy anything from them ever. We told all of our friends to avoid Artisan Crafted Home like the plague.

There simply were too many interesting things. I am certain I could have spent hours inside and still not taken in everything. The back rooms had what I look at as apothecary chest- tons of little drawers, if you can picture it. Except they had several of them and every drawer was filled with different jewelry findings! Beads, clasps, bails- you name it. At the front of the store were a bunch of felt hats that were also incredible. We were greeted when we entered and checked on a couple of times- I really enjoyed this shop. I was very, very tempted to buy myself one of their gorgeous semi-precious gemstone necklaces. Don't be fooled by the name: this is not a shop selling musical instruments and sheet music…read more I mean, sure, there are a few instruments to be found within (bells and whistles and whatnot), but this surprisingly spacious store is so much more than that. Populated with gifts, goods, clothing, accessories, jewelry, home décor (rugs! so. many. rugs!), hand-carved wooden furniture, and curious curios collected from the far flung corners of the world, exploring this place is a treat in itself. It's a self-contained bazaar in a building. The employee who greeted us was enamored with our newborn son, and gave him a free finger puppet, which apparently they do for every little tyke on their first visit, which was a sweet touch. My wife ended up purchasing a few trinkets and a necklace chain, but we spent more time ooh-ing and aah-ing, while conversing with the attendant, more than anything. A great place to shop, but also just to browse, explore, and absorb. Music for the eyes, indeed, but also serenity for the soul!

I was parking outside of first and main design to go meet my girlfriend for lunch. The owner was…read morestanding outside and noticed that I had a low rear tire on my car. He told me to go and enjoy my lunch and when I get back if the tire looks better it's because he Was going to fill it up with his air compressor. I just thought that was the nicest thing someone could do for you I didn't ask for his help. He simply offered, went in and got an air compressor and fixed my flat. The man was a gentleman and we need more people like him in our community Thank you thank you.

She takes peanuts out of your hands which Marie hands out to visitors. We purchased candles and other goodies which we really loved. The prices for the treats, into which Marie puts her heart, are very reasonable. Trust me, the treats in Hawaii cost way more, and they are made with factory machines. We even bought a large cookie from a batch that Marie baked that morning. The cookie was really good. We ate the cookie, fudge, and caramels before we reached Deception Pass Bridge (we are visitors from Hawaii). Mahalo so much Marie!!!

The property is cute and beautifully maintained - the owner specializes in dark flowers and is extremely knowledgeable. I am not a gardener but my wife and my mother are and they loved looking at all the plants and bought a few. There's four goats! You can feed them peanut shells, which they love. It was adorable. And there is a super cute shop with lots of local things for sale. Fudge, flowers, soaps, cards, all sorts of gift things. Definitely worth a visit!

Bobbi came to our house to discuss designing our entire yard all the way through to execution. Was…read morea good meeting, nothing out of the ordinary. Had appointment April 21st to discuss the concept. She called the day before and said she couldn't find it on her computer but would be fairly easy for her to redo. I said no worries, when ready call me back to reschedule. No response back, I emailed her after 2 weeks, didn't get a response. After a month I contacted the owner, Garrett, and then the next day Bobbi contacted me and left a message saying she was sorry, it was unprofessional, she should have got back to me, if I still wanted to do the project call her back. I didn't call back that day, but the next day Garrett left me an email saying he was sorry and they prided themselves on communication. So I answered the email fairly promtly that day, which was May 19th, saying I wanted to continue and I would call Bobbi. I called to leave her message and her outgoing mail said she's out of the office till June 2nd. I left a message saying I would continue with the project even though I thought it was odd she never mentioned she was going to be out of the office when she told me the day before to call her back. Well, it's June 9th and I think it's pretty clear that Bobby doesn't want anything to do with it job for whatever her reason is. There was no unpleasantness in our first meeting or after so I don't understand why she would ghost me when this is a sizeable job for them to do. She never mentioned any difficulties with a job that could have put her off wanting to continue. I won't even go to the nursery to buy aplant or anything after being treated this way. Very poor business.

Restoration Furniture Repair restored a dining table and chairs that had been damaged through…read moreseveral moves. The dining set has been in the family for almost 100 years, so it is precious to us. I am very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the materials used. My 93 year old mother says that she has never seen the table look so good. Kudos to the entire team for their craftsmanship and warm customer interactions.
