Not what I would expect from a small town cafe in rural Kentucky! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. The fries were a standout-perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and lightly seasoned with sugar and pepper. The provided dipping sauce was a treat-sweetened whipped cream cheese with vanilla bean. The smallish wrap consisted of quality ingredients-particularly a nice tomato. There was a conservative amount of nicely seasoned but tiny chicken nuggets, more breading than meat. The sauce was excellent and slightly spicier than most versions, which I appreciated. Overall, a delicious if not completely satisfying meal. Would go again.

I came here twice, and I had a nitro cold brew with sugar free vanilla as well as a hot black sesame matcha with oat milk. The cold brew was smooth and strong- perfect for powering through a workday on a warm day. The black sesame matcha didn't taste "green" and stayed warm, a powerful punch to get through the afternoon. They also have unique non-coffee drinks; my coworker got an iced drink called "Huckleberry Ben" that seemed interesting. The prices are so low here. You can get two specialty coffee drinks for under $15, and that includes tax and tip. The baristas were nice, and the coffee shop is a fun place to hang out if you want to work or chill. I don't know why anyone would drink chain coffee in Bowling Green with Spencer's around. I can see why everyone loves it, and I will be back too!

For lunch we had one her fresh made panini sandwichs served right off of her grill. We followed it with fresh made Scotish shortbread. The shop has been open for 5 years and serves Franklin in a nice little house. There are 3 rooms with tables and couches and comfortable chairs. I worked on while having lunch on her free hotspot wireless connections. Sassy Lassie is 1 of the 2 spots in town where you can get wireless. The other is Ms. Anne's other location Burgers On The Square. Know for the best burgers in the South and chicken wings! Worth the time and if you need some fresh coffee and a sweet, I sugguest your get off I-65 and drive 5 mintues to her shop. Mon-Fri 7am to 2:30pm.
