It's amazing that this is the first review for the Mill House Cafe. I've eaten here regularly for the last month and it's amazing! Never had the coffee because I always order the Arnold Palmer(which is the best I've ever had). As far as the sandwiches, salads, and sides, I have nothing negative to say but everything positive. This Mill House is a hidden gem in our small town and just a late back place to spend time with friends and family. Sorry about the Photo, I had to get on that Mac and Cheese soon as it came out! Don't walk by, walk in!

Very rude at the counter and the coffee tasted like it had disinfectant in it. Very chemical taste.

Great food and service. Had a quick lunch and back on the road. Owner ended up originally being from MI too! Highly recommend!

Not a bad little coffee house but the person that runs the store she is so rude and just makes the whole experience not worth it.

Stopped in here yesterday for breakfast and had coffee and a great breakfast burrito. Cool vibe inside, and the staff was friendly.

They let you try really anything to make sure you'll like it. A good example is truffle cream, but even the cheeses. 2. They try and get ahead of the line. By that I mean while they are making sandwiches they reach out to get the next order, and I'm always impressed that they remember the order. If they don't, or are not confident they do follow up. 3. Lexi and Sam today were amazing handling sandwiches and the customers with grace and kindness. They made us feel like we were special and again didn't make us feel rushed. 4. Additionally, I have an allergy and Lexi was completely understanding. She not only switched gloves but she made my sandwich in a completely different area to make sure nothing was cross contaminated. 5. I have never been disappointed in a sandwich I have gotten here. "Negatives" it should be said that the sandwiches are on the expensive side. Especially if you add anything extra. Which is why I tend to come here as a treat, a friend is in town, or if someone hasn't tried this place before. Surprisingly the sandwiches are big and it can be tough to finish the full sandwich in one sitting, but also that can be dinner or lunch tomorrow. As far as I know I haven't found a free parking area, so you do have to pay for parking.

All three people behind the counter greeted me enthusiastically and with big smiles when I walked in. I perused the menu and opted for La Toscana. While I was waiting, I was enticed by the beautiful display of delicious and fresh ingredients in the display case. Every sandwich is made to order, but they worked very quickly so I didn't have to wait long. Overall the sandwich was excellent. In particular the Truffle Honey really took it over the top in terms of great flavors. I did feel that the focaccia was a bit too crispy, at least to my taste. I'm not sure if this was a one-off issue or if this is how they always make the bread. I would have preferred the focaccia to be quite a bit softer, but maybe that's just my personal preference. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was a very hot day so I stayed inside with the air conditioning. The place is really clean with some nice decor. The experience was really good, and I would certainly recommend this as a great sandwich shop with excellent Italian ingredients. I'll just hope for softer focaccia next time.

I really appreciated how they brought an old-school music theme into the interior design. The sandwiches were just as impressive as the ambiance. One thing that stood out was the bread--soft, fresh, and easy to digest, which made the sandwiches even more enjoyable. I ordered the Californication Jam Sandwich, which comes with pulled chicken, pepper jack cheese, jalapeño slaw, Doritos, and red hot chili pepper jam. It was absolutely delicious. The jam added the perfect amount of spice and tied all the flavors together beautifully. I also tried the Classic Hero Sandwich, which was equally satisfying and packed with flavor. Overall, this is a unique sandwich spot with great food, creative menu items, and a memorable atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll be returning to!

We had a Delicious sandwich & fries. Great gravy on the poutine-esque "Disco fries". Quality meat on the cheesesteak which was chopped well and very beefy, excellently diced onions, good soft bread, nice cheese option with the Cooper Sharp. Great portion size and quality food, though a bit pricy. We left full, but my wife and I shared one fry and split one sandwich spending $30 total. Overall, best Philly steak I've had outside of Philly. Lots of other delicious looking options. We look forward to coming again soon.
