The "brick and brack" or Home Goods as other places call it is a bit on the higher priced side and there are many items not priced (which is understandable with that size of store, just difficult when hunting for items). If you're looking for clothes -- they've got them! I adore coming to this Salvation Army, but I don't bring my older friends because the lighting is so dim and I find it difficult to see clearly and often you'll walk out with a pair of shoes or dress that's a shade or two different than what you thought it was inside!

I had tried to do my taxes myself and had completed everything except one serious problem with inputting and coding one of my 1099-R as a refund of Basis I prepaid on an annuity product that I cancelled and the Basis was refunded to me, not to be counted as income. The program I was using included the amount refunded as Income instead of refund of Basis adding to my gross income. Struggling with the program, I could not get this resolved and could not finish my taxes. I called Wolverine and John Eaton answered my call. I explained the above to John. John actually listens. John came up with solutions. He said I did not need Wolverine for a simple return because of the cost. John proposed that he recommend a tax preparer to do my return and file it. John made 3 phone calls on my behalf and consulted with his staff members to find a person out of office qualified to do my returns. John called me back to keep me informed of his progress. John consulted with me about my tax problem on his time and with no compensation. John Eaton is extraordinary, capable, smart, kind and generous. Working with the Angelini's have been some of the best decisions I have made both for my business…read moreand home. They set a very high bar in their industry. I have completed two projects with them and currently working on a third. The first project was a significant residential renovation in downtown Ann Arbor. We were moved out of our home for nine months to complete this project. They took our 1920's Craftsman and turned it in to a fully functional home that still maintained all it's original charm. In this project we did a full kitchen remodel, two bathrooms, addition, added basement space and restored existing foundation. This process had a lot of potential issues that they helped to smooth out and make enjoyable. We know have a beautiful home that works perfectly for our family and I largely credit them with making it happen. The second and current projects are for my business in downtown Ann Arbor. They are amazing with re-imaging small or limited spaces. When I decided to take over more space from my existing building I didn't even want to come up with my own ideas till I could see what Theresa would envision. She has also been a very strong advocate for me in dealing with my landlord and the city on permitting and other concerns. She makes my life much easier, My decision to take on the current project was dependant on the Angelinis being on board. They also do great finsh design and selection. They have selected paint colors, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures and just about any other detail you may not even know you need. They provide a detail oriented approach from start to end. If you are thinking of taking on a construction or renovation project of any size, do your self a favor and speak with them. Obviously, I can not say enough positive things about them.
