The cost of the string would vary based on what you need. Even if you don't have a racket to bring in, they sell the latest models. The staff would give you recommendations based on your preferences. They also have pickle ball options too! If you need a new wardrobe this summer, this is the place to go. They have a variety of styles for men, women, and kids. It's on the pricier end, but the quality lives up to it and I'm sure it would last you a long time.

Yesterday was my first time coming to Westside Skate shop after many skating friends highly…read morerecommending it. I had an incredible experience with David. He is very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to skate fitting. I really appreciated David's explanation of all the steps of getting the perfect fit for my boot. Between the heat molding, punching, and modifications he made to my skates, it really was so worth it. (Just be prepared to be in the shop for a good chunk of time!) Today I skated for the first time with the new boots and blades and the sharpening was absolutely perfect, I have never glided like I did today. David will definitely will be my new go-to for sharpening, 100% worth the trip! Thank you so much David!

Otherwise the staff handles everything well. It did take a while as there was a lot to talk about, so budget some time. I noticed a few pairs of wedges in the window so I decided to try a few of them on. Despite the fact that it's meant to be a warehouse, I didn't find the shoes that much cheaper than a regular Steve Madden. The sale selection was rather limited. The two sales racks were buy one, get the second one 90% off. But everything else in the store was regular price. They had scratch cards, so I was able to get 30% off. But the price of the wedges were $79, which I didn't think was warehouse price at all. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase but I think the warehouse part is a bit misleading.

It seems like the men's corner is just for us to hang out in while our counterparts ravage the other 98% of the store. Staff wasn't very helpful and 2-3 of them (the only ones working) stayed behind the counter small talking about there weekend, never bothering to greet anyone. Pitching machines are available and prices are affordable compared to similar cages - really great to have batting cages available in the Flushing area. Individualized baseball lessons are also available with Coach Pablo - he's coached for the EEP Bandits travel team. Doc Gooden event was great - he gave a pep talk to the children about friendships and the importance of having fun. It was originally going to be a pitching clinic, but the event was tweaked a bit and Doc ended up throwing batting practice to all the children. I guess my son can say Doc Gooden threw BP to him. Afterwards everyone lined up for autographs and we were able to get a baseball and baseball card signed. I will definitely be returning to Game 162 for their batting cages and I hope they continue to do signings with other baseball players.
