Some good staff, most staff is family so if…read morethere is an issue it doesn't get solved, staff were smoking vapes outside the house and when a youth told the owners (the mother and daughter) nothing happened, they instead talking bad about the youth with the staff that was caught smoking and that still continued, police are called CONSTANTLY even when they can wind down issues themselves, they will also try and have the police take your youth instead of once again, handling the situation until it gets unsafe THEN calling police. The people at this group home have been verbally aggressive to youth, one child had gotten hit by the higher up group home owner while in there room upset, had visible scratches on face and also got their hair pulled, staff claimed the camera's " did not work ". One youth had the covers and blankets pulled off of her while in bed by the higher up daughter while getting yelled at, the staff then proceeded to stand over her while she was sitting on the ground and shove the youths head back repeatedly while yelling, this also occurred in a bedroom. Staff taunting youth multiple times, threatening to get another youth on them because those two youth had previously gotten into a fight. They also put a 16 year old and a 12 year old in a room together and made fun of the 16 year old youth with another child and joked about how they put her with the 12 year old on purpose. Another time police were actively at the group home once again, and the higher up staff ( daughter of the owner ) was mouthing stuff to the youth while the police had there back towards her and were facing the youth, making the child more upset. The water for the shower would always stain the tub a orange yellow color and leave the youths skin very dry and itchy, they also refused to turn on the hot water for the youth and only had them shower in luke warm water. I do NOT recommend this group home.

I'm not a person that over medicated my self! We arrived at his office and was given the mountain of paperwork to be done. I had seen the new specialist for the pain on Monday and was able to get the appointment to see this doctor on that Wednesday. He was very helpful and friendly and so was his staff! I figured that the questions were about the medication that I had been taking and how I handled them. I was really impressed with the way that questions were asked of me. He wanted to know if I had taken my meds as they had been prescribed. I was asked about my illicit drug use and if I drank alcohol. Those questions helped me to be able to relax and feel confident with my answers! I don't take any medication that is not prescribed for me and take it as prescribed. As for alcohol, I cannot stand the taste! Yuck! When I was little we lived on my aunt and uncles property and they had a beautiful race horse! His name was White Socks because he had "on" white socks! One afternoon my dad rode him into the paddock and he stood where we were talking and promptly peed in front of us! And the thing that ruined me of ever drinking was that when it hit the ground, it foamed just like beer does when poured into a glass! That memory has never gone away! So no alcohol for me! As my interview was coming to an end, the doctor was chuckling about my story! He also told me that he would let the pain specialist know that I will be a good candidate to receive the pain medication that he will subscribe to me. I was very anxious about seeing the doctor but his mannerisms didn't upset me and he helped me to be calm!
