I have been very fortunate to be under the care of Joanne for many years in her private practice,…read moreroughly 7.5 years. I looked to one of the runners at a local shop for some help with running niggles. He recommended that I follow up with Joanne immediately. Best advice ever, very grateful for Eric's outstanding recommendation and even more indebted to have a professional like Joanne looking to keep this body functioning. As a typical runner, I abuse my body with a lot of running miles (trails and road, speed and recovery). She is always working her magic to get this body ready to keep on training and racing. Last year I damaged my ankle (deltoid ligament tear and posterior tibialis tendinitis)and went through PT. But honestly it was Joanne's healing hands breaking up the adhesions and increasing my ankle's range of motion so I could race in one of my bucket list runs (JFK 50 miler). She is always quick to assess problems that are brewing due to bad form, wrong shoes, etc. and provides great insight on what I need to focus on to avoid future injuries. I respect Joanne's knowledge and understanding of how different sports impact the body in different ways. She has given me "homework" on how I can strengthen weaknesses to avoid future injuries and I appreciate this preventative "medicine" approach. She approaches you holistically and I can tell you that I have never had anyone take that approach; they only focus on the current issue/injury. If you've got some aches and pains due to sports, post-surgery or even a slip and fall, I highly recommend Joanne and the Orthopedic Massage and Wellness in Hudson OH. I know you will leave standing taller and feeling stronger.

With her physical therapy background and massage credentials, she was the perfect person to work on my stiffness and swelling, help correct my posture and gait, and realign all the muscles that had become wonky when I was limping around. I noticed a huge difference after the first treatment. Joanne is a well-informed, observant, skilled professional.

I have been to many Massage Envy's and had memberships with three over the course of my lifetime…read more When I came to this location in the past, I was never swayed to sign up again until I randomly booked Tara, who is hands down, the very best massage therapist I have ever had (and I have had hundreds of massages all over the world). One 90 min massage with Tara and I was sold. She is kind, respectful, and it is so obvious that she loves what she does and spends hours honing her craft. Like all Massage Envy's, they cut you short about 10-15 min to "review your needs and dress/undress" which is ridiculous because that all takes about 2-3 min tops, and their add-ons are quite expensive, but if you sign up for a membership while they are running a special, they throw in perks like free upgrades. I've tried the targeted percussion therapy, the aromatherapy, the foot scrub, the Himalayan salt stones, the hot stones, the CBD oil and hot towels, and a few other items. I've never noticed a big difference with any of that stuff but the hot stones and CBD towel experience were quite nice. Regardless, it all comes down to who your massage therapist is and I cannot speak to the others, but Tara is phenomenal. Membership rates are steep and I wish they had less than a year- commitment because I would get massages more frequently if they were more affordable. I recently tried another massage salon that had a better price and it wasn't worth it. The whole time, I was comparing them to Tara and the quality of Massage Envy. I highly recommend this location and this therapist. You will NOT be disappointed.

I have never had a massage before, and it exceeded my expectations by a mile. I injured my neck a couple of weeks before my visit and had heard that massage helped, and by the time I went in I was willing to try anything. I am so glad I did. Anna did an amazing job and was super nice and has some impressively strong hands, which I was initially concerned with. The day after my visit was the first day since I got hurt that I wasn't wincing in pain all day long. I am so incredibly happy that I went to Massage Envy. Thanks again Anna!
