The only drawback is that there is no driving range. Family owned and operated and they care about their customers having a good experience. I found the Rochester Indoor Golf Center. During my first simulator practice session I overheard a golf lesson being conducted in the next bay. The instruction being communicated was technically accurate, easy to understand, and being delivered by a professional golf instructor with obviously a lot of playing and teaching experience. Not a club pro or someone with a philosophy, but solid golf instruction and teaching experience. At the end of that first session I managed to schedule a lesson from Paul Pehler. I have had many lessons over the years with a lot of different golf instructors. I have never had a more enjoyable, challenging and productive golf lesson than what I received from Paul at Rochester Indoor Golf Center. The staff at Rochester Indoor Golf Center were all very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for simulator practice, real instruction, or equipment, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The front nine was rather short from the forward tees so I eked out a few pars. Water plays a factor in a few holes. Not much for sand and there were a few rolling hills. Tee boxes were in bad shape but the greens were very nice. Back nine was hillier and more challenging with narrower fairways and more water challenges. Staff checking us in was friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful. The bike trail is near so we heard a few riders zooming past. We played fast. Our first 18 holes took about 3 hours. We bopped over to hole two after finishing 18 and played 6 more of the front nine until we caught up to a foursome. Beautiful day on the course.

Incredibly Disappointed…read more Our family made reservations well in advance for this past weekend in celebration of my Grandmother turning 101. So many family members came together (from multiple states away) for this momentous occasion (around 65 adults/young children). Approximately around 45 minutes after arrival, a male staff member came over seemly very displeased to advise that they only had one waitress on staff for the entire bar + restaurant (as the rest of the staff was on vacation due to Weddings). It was decided that we would all immediately sit so orders could be taken. Some family members even attempting to be helpful and writing the entire tables orders down for the waitress. A couple of family members attempted to assist the waitress and helped to bring waters to the tables. While it was somewhat understandable that food would take some time for a large party like ours, we had several having to ask about their orders after a couple hours, with 8 leaving having never received their food. We started around 430pm and leaving around 9pm. I truly felt for our waitress (Judy R?) as we understand this is not a reflection upon her but a very HUGE issue with management. As we were wrapping up there was yet another dinner party arriving - sad to have to forewarn for disappointment. "People don't leave bad jobs; they leave because of bad bosses, poor management and a lack of appreciation for their worth."
