I knew right away that I needed coffee & had just seen on Instagram that they had a limited time "fresh pumpkin brown sugar" latte. I ordered a 24 ounce iced version of this homemade concoction ($6.25). Its creaminess was luscious without being overly sweet. My medium club salad ($9) was really good. I just didn't like the bacon that tasted like & looked exactly like the microwavable stuff. The decor was super posh. The gender neutral restroom was clean. The owner was as nice as I remember her from a year ago. She stated that their grand opening will be soon, but further details weren't available. It will be Saturday, October 7, 2023 @ 11AM. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. TIP Don't forget to ask for a loyalty punch card if they don't offer one to you. Ladies... here's some grown a$$ woman advice: Don't talk sh!t about your man to "your girls" at the cafe. My husband ordered a sugar-free blended mocha; I ordered a sugar-free strawberry banana smoothie. Then we asked McKenzie for her recommendation for our son. She described prickly pear and made him a desert pear lemonade. All of our items were good! Service was amazing, and the entire Cafe was inviting with the colorscape and decor. She offers other snacks items too, but my youngest daughter was dying to try their shaved ice. They didn't have blue raspberry, so I settled for flavor choice #2: cherry. From the first bite to the last spoon full, holy crap. The smoke was perfect, the burnt ends out of this world great. The portion sizes for mine and my wife's was perfect, not too much you couldn't finish, and not too little you walked away hungry. A good portion is 8 oz this was just about 9 oz. Every bite was a lap dance on the tongue. The beans were nice and creamy, the potato salad was spot on. My wife loved her Mac n Cheese. She's usually chatty when we eat, but this time; this time she didn't make a sound. Just enjoying every bite. As food trucks go, they draw you in and make you feel comfortable. The greet and serve you with a smile. What I find particularly amazing, is they don't serve soda. Just really good sweet tea, amazing lemonade, and water. Their atmosphere is soothing and comforting, like a really good Southern barbecue joint should be. Living in Lubbock, I would drive the 60 miles to Seagraves; just for the barbecue. If you see them set up anywhere, do yourself a favor and stop for a bite and get some really good sweet tea.
