The employees that work there are very people friendly and eager to help you have a successful and over the top party. They have it all; backlighting, uplighting, current music, portable microphones, they play music to entertain the older crowd of your guests and they also include fun songs for the children that attend as your guests. They are introduced to their D.J. and contact is kept between the Bride and their D.J. in order to assure the Bride of exactly how things will occur at her ceremony or reception according to preferences. We used Songbird Entertainment for our Class Reunion and had THE MOST AWESOME class reunion in the history of our class reunions. We were fortunate to be able to use the additional services of the PHOTO BOOTH with costumes as well as the DJ services and cannot say enough about the whole night. I liked using their website to create my own playlist and the worksheet for picking the ceremony music was really helpful. I was grateful that our DJ, Travis, was extremely patient because I know a few guests started a line for requests. I was told later that most their requests weren't played, but I'm not upset about it. I would suggest being straight forward with your DJ - they aren't being paid to read your mind! If the crowd isn't feeling your playlist, open it up to requests. A few more of my guests would've been out dancing if their song was played, but my husband and I were out there the whole time. I have used Songbird for many winter formals/proms for our high school and have never been disappointed. We decided to use them for my son's wedding and it was perfect. Brent went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. He had everyone on the dance floor constantly it seemed. Dollar dance went exceptionally well and he helped stage it to get more involved. He had other contests like the couple married the longest which the older family members loved. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service and the help of Brent to make my son's wedding perfect. We used Songbird for the videography, slideshow, photo booth and DJ service! Brent, Larry and Walt are a class act. They pay station to detail and made our day special. They are very easy to contact and deal with. When we received our video from the wedding we realized they had hid cameras in the church to capture different angles of the ceremony. Our video was profesonaly done and helped us relive our day. The music was spot on the whole night and the dj light show was more than expected. These guys did so good with hosting our wedding!! I recommend Songbird highly!! We were so pleased with the experience of dealing with Larry and his team. When we hired Songbird, we didn't realize it's more than just a DJ service. They set up backlighting, they set up the DJ stage with a beautiful setting, they provided us with a beautiful presentation of photos of the family, and we got to pick our songs!
