He gives a quote for the grass and it is reasonable. This is during the end summer so he cuts the grass and trims a 4 times and he is eager to get work. This changes in September when he says he is going to come and we text and call. After a few weeks he texts that he got into an accident in Middletown Atlanta. He says he needs to get the truck fixed but he will get to us as soon as he can. He uses a big box truck to carry equipment and was not the truck in the picture so let Mr. Garcia know that if he needed money that we have work to help get his truck fixed. "Yes no problem I will get to you" is his answer. Two weeks later I call and text and finally he comes and cuts the grass and blows the leaves because now it's late November and all the leaves are down and I am asking to get this done and to quote us a price to get the whole yard done. His communication goes from excellent to very subpar! The holiday season comes and goes and I try to do the yard work but I'm super busy and my yard still look like dog poop! My wife has better luck with this guy so she texts and calls. It's like we give him all the benefit of doubt because of his sad poor me stories. And we are decent people and will go the distance for anyone. We finally get a hold of him and again his story is he is having truck problems but he will come on a Friday. Friday comes and goes and we call and text. Today is two weeks later and I'm looking for another lawn care provider and I see his name of landscaping company. I see he has great reviews and seems amazing!! I call him and text him telling him that his business is not good when you can not commit to a service that is provided especially when the communication is horrible and when you make promises that you can not keep. I am sorry your truck keeps breaking down or you have other issues but at the end of the day I am a paying customer trying to pay you to provide a service!! I let him know I'm posting this review so he is not blindsided. So ya this guy is garbage and his company is garbage so just because the reviews look good, the company is still garbage and do yourself a favor and read these negative reviews to get a better picture. After the sod was down, no one told us how to care for it, no watering schedule, no feeding instructions. We also had to ask them to return to trim the sod back from where it was laid up onto the tree trunks which still has not been done. The bigger issue was a fencing job we'd discussed as follow-up work. Communication basically stopped for weeks. I told them 3-4 separate times to just order the fence, and it kept getting drawn out with no clear reason why. Never got a real update without chasing them down. Good crew for the hands-on landscaping work, but the follow-through and communication need serious improvement before I'd hire them again or recommend them for anything beyond a single, self-contained job. Honestly, if not for the crew's work ethic on the actual labor, this review would have scored much lower.
