Very professional, on time, reminder email, fantastic clean up, no tree dumped on the curb, confirmed trees before cutting, blown off, cognizant of areas where there could be damage. They put boards down so they did not damage any of my grass. Simply put, they were amazing. Six years ago I made a list of 10 things to go over for future jobs when my yard and trees were subjected to a incompetent tree people. The tree was a huge white oak tree that was dying and needed to be removed from a difficult location between two homes with power cables in the way. The tree had been growing since 1968 and split, so there were two trees to remove. When East Lake began, it was like watching artists, and most of my neighbors sat in lawn chairs to watch the removal (We all loved that tree...). It took two days, and there were no accidents or mishaps. I can't say enough good things about East Lake Tree Service because my mother is 91 years old and 60% incapacitated from a recent stroke, and they carefully removed that tree as if it were a family heirloom. They took out a very leaning tower of mulberry as well and just took all of that away. Everything was picked up and they were fast - in by 9am and out by 11:30. I requested a quote online from several companies via Yelp. The next day this company sent me a text with a quote without identifying themselves. Apparently, they came to my property without notifying me first and decided to give me an estimate for one tree visible from the street. When I let them know I had other trees I wanted trimmed, which they would have know if they had contacted me before coming out, they said they would only give me an estimate for those trees if I decided to move forward with them, without knowing how much it would cost upfront. I let them know the remaining trees would need to be included in the estimate, and they chose not to reply. Very unprofessional. I ultimately went with APEX Tree Service, who kept me informed throughout the process, and were very professional and reasonably priced. Update: The information in James' response is simply not true. I never told them 1 tree needed trimming because they never contacted me until after they came to my property without reaching out first. read more

I needed a very large very old tree that was during due to ivy removed and a middle sized tree trimmed. I got three quotes and this company was the best option in Atlanta. Everyone with whom I spoke was so professional and thorough. They gave a reasonable quote of amount that the job would cost when they could start and the length of time the job would take.
