Sonic is so good. I love most all the foods and the desserts are great. I love the footlong Hotdogs without the cheese & with few onions. They always get it right. Very efficient. I wouldn't even give it a one if possible. Husband got fish and chips, with no chips Why call it fish and chips if you don't serve chips with it. I ordered steak medium rare come out well. My husbands fish was so bad he spit it out. Now if you know my husband he spent 20 years in the Army and will eat about anything. When I asked to get him something else to eat the manager came out and was extremely nasty and called us a liar among other things. I will never step foot in that place again. read more

In my shake there was a hair in it and I ordered my food on the app custom and it's was totally wrong I was supposed to have a garlic butter bacon cheeseburger add bbq and jalapeños but there were no jalapeños or any bbq and it tasted kinda bad my pickle fries I got were cold and hard and tasted funny too so I don't recommend sonic at all. read more

food was decent, but the service was not good. sassy, snotty responses over the speaker. our sprites were just carbonated water tasting. when we told them, they gave us new drinks, but they didn't change out the sprite first so we got more carbonated water. Order a large, get a small on fries, cheddar bites, onion rings. Order a sandwich expect dry buns, hard, cheese half on, sandwich sloppy! And that is if they make it the way you ordered it. Order desert, like a shake or ice cream with any thing they add like Oreo, strawberries, etc don't expect to actually see much of it as they put very little in. Order a cherry limeaide, expect light pink watered down lime juice. Literally was pink and tasted like I ordered lime water. read more

Stopped by the nearly empty drive in expecting a great quick experience. I ordered a breakfast toaster and large Dr Pepper with easy ice, the girl who took my order made me repeat myself 3 time and still didn't get what I ordered right. Waited for about 15 minutes to go home and unveil a burnt toast sandwich and Dr Pepper with normal ice not easy like i asked for. On the other hand the breakfast menu is reasonably priced but lunch and snack menu is a little steep. All in all 2 stars decent service and i am disappointed the carhop was not wearing roller skates. read more

Great Sonic Happy Hour 1/2 priced drinks. Love the limeade's so we stop when passing if it's 2-4 pm. Even though it's a chain of stores the quality is always good and the drinks are consistent. Always clean always friendly and some time on skates. Great fun. read more

Worst experience I've ever had, when we pressed the button to order we had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to answer and then they didn't even take our order so we had to wait another 20 minutes before they answered again so we could order then they never brought us our food so we had to press the button again and someone came to the car to take the order then the manager came out to tell us they're understaff and they'll get the food out as soon as possible but we still had to wait another 30 minutes to get our food while many other people got served and they messed up the order, forgot French toast sticks and I asked for cheese on the side for my fries and they completely ignored that and the fries were cold and the cheese was in one cold disgusting lump and they ever messed up the drinks, how do you screw up the drinks!!! We stopped here on our way to Vegas today and I have to say that I was impressed. Not by the food... It's Sonic... It is what it is. The tables were clean, the bathroom was clean and the service was impeccable. Terrence was such a sweetheart. This is more than you could expect from ANY fast food joint. read more

First off the only reason I gave it "1" star is because I had no other option....This place is DISGUSTING! My son got food poisoning after we ate here....I kept telling myself to turn around and get back on the highway after driving down the main street to get there....The city itself looked dirty and unkept....Maybe the Mayor needs to be fired or soemthing....Plus the town didn't look like it needed a Sonic....Everyone was fat and unhealthy looking....Abilene is definitely disconnected from the rest of the world..... read more

This is your place if you are especially fond of grilled chicken that tastes like rubber. I know you usually don't expect that much from sonic, but stopping here for a quick meal during a road trip was a disappointment. Initially we felt it was a very friendly and conscientious staff. Finding our order missing items we buzzed back in,was acknowledged,told it would be right out and then nothing. This is the worst Sonic as to quality of food I have been to in a long time. Since we have known many of the original owners as well as still knowing many franchise owners, we have seen differences in stores. In the last 10 visits here ( it's a small town without a lot of choices) over the last year ( before and after Covid-19) we have NEVER gotten an order correct. Today, ask for double cheese burger get single. Wife asks for pop corn chicken that was so hard it's now going to be dog food. When we have complained in the past mgmt has been less than helpful. I could go on and on but why. If you have a choice don't come here. The Salina, Kansas Sonic downtown is very good and Junction City beats this one hands down. The owner IMO needs to take a hard look at their manager. Or the manager needs to look harder at cool staff. I am done. I will never go here again. Out of the last 5 times going here, my order has only been correct once. The one time it was correct I only ordered 2 drinks. The food order is always incorrect. The food is cold. Have you ever eaten cold cheddar bites? They are gross!! I went there for breakfast on Christmas Eve morning before I had a Doctor appointment. I did not go through the drive thru. There were only 2 cars there. I waited 20 minutes and my food still was not delivered. I had to go or I was going to be late to my appointment.
