So it's 3 stars for the food. I felt like I got gypped on the fries. I had what they call the "Jalitos Ranch Hungr-Buster" ($7.59 without the combo). While my photo does not do it justice, this flavorful burger was comprised of "1/4 lb. grilled beef patty topped with lettuce, Jalapeño Ranch, our famous, crispy Jalitos® and spicy Pepper Jack Cheese." It was a rich taste because of the chorizo, and very flavorful. My husband LOVED the hand battered steak fingers with mashed potatoes. I topped it off with the Angel Delight Chocolate Lover ice cream waffle bowl. While this place is terrible for my waistline, it was good food and worth the drive. I'll probably try the steak fingers next time. My husband says he's coming back for a 1/2 lb burger!

If I'm not mistaken, this is Hobbs' first chocolatier. They had so many delightful chocolate covered items - from nuts to jalapenos. My daughters were dying to try ice cream and stuck to their flavors. The youngest had two scoops in a cup of Krazy Kolors. Bold colors of red, blue, and yellow, but it tasted like plain vanilla to me. Lol. The oldest had two scoops of Cookie Two Step, which was chocolate chip cookie dough. Very cream. Large chunks of chocolate. The decent-sized cold mounds were served in small plastic ball caps both for $12.14. We got three single scoop cones with one topping each and our total was $23 without the tip. If they had an experience type of environment that price would be worth it but there is no indoor seating. When we went it was about 95 degrees so sitting outside wasn't an option. I wish they had a cute set up inside, some seating inside. Then it would be a whole experience and the price tag would be worth it. They do have lots of wild ice cream towers but they started at around $13 so that could have gotten pricey. This has great potential but needs to bulk up the overall experience. I'd love a fun place to take visiting friends but this isn't it.
